Sand Snarks (Fukya in Japan) are enemies in The Legendary Starfy series. They are a larger orange version of Snarks, which are too strong to damage. However, in The Legendary Starfy, they can be defeated with the Shooting Star ability if hit from the surface of the water. They are encountered in S.S. Logwater in The Legendary Starfy.
Red-eyed Sand Snarks
In Densetsu no Starfy 4, a limited number of red-eyed Sand Snark are encountered in Thousand Year Hill (Stage 7-3). Jojiro explains that several of his minions have been brainwashed by Degil, and asks Starfy to eliminate several red-eyed Sand Snarks, teaching Starfy the Ultra Star Spin.
