:Yeah. To be honest, I am not excited about the two new Mario games. Pikmin 3 looks interesting. NintendoLand is actually much better than it seems, as I've heard. An F-Zero attraction was announced, and it seems like a Yoshi and Balloon Fight attraction will be coming. Nintendo posted pictures of all the series icons that will be in NintendoLand, and there was a Yoshi Egg and a Balloon. Is P-100 being published by Nintendo? Game and Wario looks interesting. Rayman Legends looks fantastic. I don't like Scribblenauts all too much, because I always come up with boring words. The "core" games announced look fun. Though, I'm not interested in ZombiU or Batman.

:Everyone is saying Ubisoft won E3, and I could agree with that. Sony and Microsoft also bombed.

:Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and Paper Mario: Sticker Star look fun. Nintendo shouldn't have announced those until this year, in my honest opinion though. I'm still anticipating Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance and Heroes of Ruin. I believe Nintendo gave other third-party titles the spotlight, but I cannot remember which. There is still the 3DS thing today, I think Animal Crossing will be showed off, and hopefully a couple new titles. Next year's E3 will be much better, I think. At least I get to keep my money this year, lol. I'll just ask for everything for Christmas (except for the Wii U) since I have a lot of relatives.

:::By "classic", I mean Kid Icarus, Punch Out!!, Donkey Kong Country, the return to 2D Mario, Sin and Punishment, etc. Nintendo has been reviving more well-known games like that. A Balloon Fight and Ice Climber game would be nice. Ice Climber could be an amazing platformer. The word "Ice" is holding it back for me though. If they were to revive it, they would need to do a whole lot. Ice setting would get boring. Maybe just "Climber", but even if they kept the name "Ice Climber", and had ice themes, I'm sure Nintendo could do something.

I really like how in Sticker Star, real life objects can be affect everything. I really want to hear something about Animal Crossing: Jump Out. Animal Crossing is probably my most played Nintendo franchise in hours total trying to collect everything. stupic golden axe... I hope you can get eaten by sharks when swimming. Kind of like the scorpions and tarantulas. I hope Nintendo does more unique things with it though. I'm still not exactly excited for the two new mario games. Mario Bros. 2 feels like a Wario game. Mario Bros. U looks more interesting, and if I ever play multiplayer, I would definitely use the GamePad and kill all my friends :P As for Fire Emblem... Yay! That's all.

When you are on the Main Page itself (not any other page, it seems), the font size for the sidebar text, the tabs at the top of the page (user page, discussion, edit...) and the user links ((username), my talk, my preferences(...)) is made smaller. Additionally, the Starfy Wiki logo is cut off (you can't see all of Starly or Moe). The problem occurred when I added a new module called "[[:Template:SocialMedia]]" to [[:Template:Main Page]] Here is a picture to demonstrate this better. Hey Torchikens, a user named ToastUltimatum has been attempting to make a Starfy Wiki account for awhile now and has been experiencing issues that he is not experiencing at other NIWA wikis. It seems that the issue is exclusive to Starfy Wiki. It's my pleasure. I have been working on and off on The Legendary Starfy in regards to speedrunning for years, and recently decided to get into the Japan only games. Very enjoyable series. I pretty much found those glitches while speedrunning the games, and I just found another graphical glitch while doing a run of the first game, which i just took the time to learn, (https://www.twitch.tv/diamond44444444/v/107860449). In regards to the correction for the enemy cards, I spent about 45 minutes looking for the Upon in 9-3 when I was getting 100% and I didn't want anybody else to fall victim to that.
I saw your channel on youtube a few months ago (At least I think it's your channel) and saw the skip you found in 5-5 of Densetsu no Stafy 2 and other things. That skip in particular was pretty cool and saves approximately 40-60 seconds in a speedrun, but given that it's already over an hour into a 4+ hour run I really won't be doing it in an RTA.

Re: Curious. Guidebooks do have the occasional error in them, so I guess it is understandable.
On the topic of the 5-5 skip and the original person who discovered it, I was going through that TASlog that you have in the description of that video and was looking at the video names for Stafy. A few ones really caught my eye, including the stafy3-stapy-doublejump (I'm implying that it applies to Stafi), the stafy3-rocket, the stafy2-cornerboost, and especially the stafy1_pearl_glitch. I would presume that you have accessed these files before since you found the 5-5 skip from it, so are you able to access these files and tell me what they are comprised of? I'm also curious what exactly is in the stafy2 parts of those files, since the game has not had much development in terms of speedrunning except for a really bad RTA that I did and an incomplete TAS that comprises only 3 levels.
In regards to the stafy1_pearl_glitch, if it pertains to obtaining pearls fast I would really like to know about it, since grinding pearls in that game for a 100% speedrun would be extremely tedious and annoying, almost as much so as in The Legendary Starfy 100%, which requires ~30 goes through 9-7 to get enough pearls. This game began as a [[nwiki:Game Boy|Game Boy]] game. In November 1995, [[Nintendo]] producer [[Hitoshi Yamagami]]'s boss instructed him to create some kind of 'floaty platformer'. Development on this game continued through 1998 and as such, Nintendo encouraged TOSE to rework this game for the Game Boy Color. In 2000, the Game Boy Color version underwent a period of promotion, where details about the game began to surface on the official Japanese [[Nintendo]] website. As the game was approaching its release for the Game Boy Color, it was again canceled and rebuilt for the Game Boy Advance which was only going to be released in 2001. Starfy was apparently going to be purely a starfish, until he was made to fall down from the sky, which supposedly invoked a community policy for TOSE to reply that Starfy is neither a star or a starfish when asked.

There are various differences between the Game Boy Color version and the final Game Boy Advance version still noticeable on Nintendo of Japan's page about the Nintendo Space World trial demo. For example, the official logo and some of the character artwork and names of characters were changed later in development, including [[Moe|Kyorosuke]] (Moe) who was originally known as "Kyororon". It should be noted however that the [[Nintendo World#Nintendo Space World 2001|Nintendo Space World 2001]] trial demo for the [[Game Boy Advance]] was promoted with the old logo used during the Game Boy Color period. Surrounded by the vast sea there is a kingdom high above the clouds called [[Pufftop]]. Living there is Starfy, the prince of Pufftop. Starfy is often careless and clumsy in nature. Times were normally peaceful in Pufftop, until Starfy was carrying around valuable [[treasure]] and he accidentally dropped a [[jar]] into the ocean. Just then, the being inside the jar used his magical powers to create a terrible storm. Tornadoes then struck the Pufftop Palace. Starfy struggled to hang on, and eventually dropped into the ocean showing his [[Done For]] pose. Starfy fell straight into [[Lobber's Cave]], located on a small island.

A wise lobster, [[Old Man Lobber]] found Starfy in his cave and asked Starfy if he could hear him. After finding out that Starfy is OK, Old Man Lobber advises that Starfy should rest a while in his cave from the terrible storm. Old Man Lobber wonders what to do with Starfy, as he is too weak to return to Pufftop. Old Man Lobber mentions a friend of his, [[Herman]] and Starfy proceeds to find Herman.

Starfy finds Herman wearing an ordinary gray shell. He has lost his missing home; a conch shell called the [[Pretty Shell]] and Herman asks him to find it. After finding a [[Kettle]], Herman, believing it may have been washed further, gives Starfy a key leading to another part of the level, where Starfy finds a tusk shell - the [[Dentalium Shell]]. After finding the tusk shell, Herman - who finds the shell too small - thinks that it is behind the rocks. He then teaches Starfy how to use the [[Star Spin]] attack. Later, Starfy finds the colorful conch shell and returns it to Herman. Herman is very grateful for Starfy and leads Starfy to the next stage, [[Coral Reef]].

Herman asks Starfy to find his friend who is being chased by bad guys. One of the bad guys is seen swimming away, so Starfy follows him. Starfy advances to a room with two bad guys known as the [[Fork]] [[Fork's brother|brothers]]. When Starfy finds them to be picking on a yellow clam, he defeats them with his Star Spin. The yellow clam is revealed to be [[Moe]]. He reveals that "his dearest" [[Ruby]] was kidnapped by a bad guy called [[Konk]]. It was then Fork and his brother chased after him. Starfy and Moe become good friends, and Moe joins Starfy on his quest back to Pufftop, offering advice. Later, after destroying the Dentalium Shell and the Kettle that were blocking the water from flowing, Starfy finds and defeats Konk. Ruby returns and Moe is much happy to see her again. Starfy and Moe advance to [[Stranded Whale]].

Starfy and Moe decide to continue to help others on their way to Pufftop. Later in the quest, after Starfy and Moe clear the stage [[Sea of Ice]], Starfy finds an unknown demonic eel who came from the jar that Starfy knocked down before he fell into Lobber's Cave. He plans to submerge Starfy and Moe in the Deep Sea, and believes that the "strange clam" is unimportant and that Starfy is an annoyance.

Later on their adventure, Starfy advances to the [[Undersea Ruins]]. An ammonite called [[Horun]] then tries to attack Starfy and Moe. It is revealed that Horun was attacked by a huge creature resembling Starfy created by the demonic eel called [[Doppel]]. Horun tried to confront Doppel, but was left injured. Once Horun realizes who Starfy really is, he helps him and Moe find Pufftop.

Later, Starfy meets Old Man Lobber again, who asks Starfy if he can locate a legendary book called the [[Yogensho]] for him, which according to legend is said to be found in the temple. The two times that Starfy attempts to obtain the book, it disappears and he is blown away by the demonic eel. Old Man Lobber asks Starfy if he found the Yogensho, to which Starfy explains what happened. When Old Man Lobber says that Moe has gone missing, the demonic eel appears again and blows both Starfy and Old Man Lobber away.

When Starfy reunites with Old Man Lobber, he asks if Starfy arrived safely and if he can look for Moe. Moe has been kidnapped by a clam-eating squirrel known as [[Rarako]]. When Starfy finds Rarako, Rarako thanks him for his 'food' and gives Starfy what he was looking for — the Yogensho. Moe eventually escapes and Old Man Lobber finally gets to read the book. Moe is excited regarding the legends of the Yogensho, though it seems that he spoke too soon as the demonic eel appears to blow Starfy, Moe and Old Man Lobber away.

Starfy and Moe are taken away to the boss room with Doppel. The demonic eel brings Doppel to his full power and vanishes. After Starfy defeats Doppel, the demonic eel leaves behind the jar that Starfy dropped from Pufftop Palace and the Yogensho. Starfy, Moe and Old Man Lobber advance to the [[Sea of Sky]] that leads to Pufftop and Old Man Lobber begins to read the Yogensho. The Yogensho reveals that the demonic eel's name is [[Ogura]]. It prophesied correctly that a large storm never seen before would hit the sea and the demon Ogura would go on a rampage until a hero appears to hunt down Ogura's minions one after the other.

Ogura leaves three bosses for Starfy to battle before he advances to Pufftop. Starfy, Moe and Old Man Lobber's main objective now is to defeat Ogura and bring peace back to Pufftop.

Surrounded by the vast sea there is a kingdom high above the clouds called [[Pufftop]]. Living there is Starfy, the prince of Pufftop. Starfy is often careless and clumsy in nature. Times were normally peaceful in Pufftop, until Starfy was carrying around valuable [[treasure]] and he accidentally dropped a [[jar]] into the ocean. Just then, the being inside the jar used his magical powers to create a terrible storm. Tornadoes then struck the Pufftop Palace. Starfy struggled to hang on, and eventually dropped into the ocean showing his [[Done For]] pose. Starfy fell straight into [[Lobber's Cave]], located on a small island.

A wise lobster, [[Old Man Lobber]] found Starfy in his cave and asked Starfy if he could hear him. After finding out that Starfy is OK, Old Man Lobber advises that Starfy should rest a while in his cave from the terrible storm. Old Man Lobber wonders what to do with Starfy, as he is too weak to return to Pufftop. Old Man Lobber mentions a friend of his, [[Herman]] and Starfy proceeds to find Herman.

Starfy finds Herman wearing an ordinary gray shell. He has lost his missing home; a conch shell called the [[Pretty Shell]] and Herman asks him to find it. After finding a [[Kettle]], Herman, believing it may have been washed further, gives Starfy a key leading to another part of the level, where Starfy finds a tusk shell - the [[Dentalium Shell]]. After finding the tusk shell, Herman - who finds the shell too small - thinks that it is behind the rocks. He then teaches Starfy how to use the [[Star Spin]] attack. Later, Starfy finds the colorful conch shell and returns it to Herman. Herman is very grateful for Starfy and leads Starfy to the next stage, [[Coral Reef]].

Herman asks Starfy to find his friend who is being chased by bad guys. One of the bad guys is seen swimming away, so Starfy follows him. Starfy advances to a room with two bad guys known as the [[Fork]] [[Fork's brother|brothers]]. When Starfy finds them to be picking on a yellow clam, he defeats them with his Star Spin. The yellow clam is revealed to be [[Moe]]. He reveals that "his dearest" [[Ruby]] was kidnapped by a bad guy called [[Konk]]. It was then Fork and his brother chased after him. Starfy and Moe become good friends, and Moe joins Starfy on his quest back to Pufftop, offering advice. Later, after destroying the Dentalium Shell and the Kettle that were blocking the water from flowing, Starfy finds and defeats Konk. Ruby returns and Moe is much happy to see her again. Starfy and Moe advance to [[Stranded Whale]].

Starfy and Moe decide to continue to help others on their way to Pufftop. Later in the quest, after Starfy and Moe clear the stage [[Sea of Ice]], Starfy finds an unknown demonic eel who came from the jar that Starfy knocked down before he fell into Lobber's Cave. He plans to submerge Starfy and Moe in the Deep Sea, and believes that the "strange clam" is unimportant and that Starfy is an annoyance.

Later on their adventure, Starfy advances to the [[Undersea Ruins]]. An ammonite called [[Horun]] then tries to attack Starfy and Moe. It is revealed that Horun was attacked by a huge creature resembling Starfy created by the demonic eel called [[Doppel]]. Horun tried to confront Doppel, but was left injured. Once Horun realizes who Starfy really is, he helps him and Moe find Pufftop.

Later, Starfy meets Old Man Lobber again, who asks Starfy if he can locate a legendary book called the [[Yogensho]] for him, which according to legend is said to be found in the temple. The two times that Starfy attempts to obtain the book, it disappears and he is blown away by the demonic eel. Old Man Lobber asks Starfy if he found the Yogensho, to which Starfy explains what happened. When Old Man Lobber says that Moe has gone missing, the demonic eel appears again and blows both Starfy and Old Man Lobber away.

When Starfy reunites with Old Man Lobber, he asks if Starfy arrived safely and if he can look for Moe. Moe has been kidnapped by a clam-eating squirrel known as [[Rarako]]. When Starfy finds Rarako, Rarako thanks him for his 'food' and gives Starfy what he was looking for — the Yogensho. Moe eventually escapes and Old Man Lobber finally gets to read the book. Moe is excited regarding the legends of the Yogensho, though it seems that he spoke too soon as the demonic eel appears to blow Starfy, Moe and Old Man Lobber away.

Starfy and Moe are taken away to the boss room with Doppel. The demonic eel brings Doppel to his full power and vanishes. After Starfy defeats Doppel, the demonic eel leaves behind the jar that Starfy dropped from Pufftop Palace and the Yogensho. Starfy, Moe and Old Man Lobber advance to the [[Sea of Sky]] that leads to Pufftop and Old Man Lobber begins to read the Yogensho. The Yogensho reveals that the demonic eel's name is [[Ogura]]. It prophesied correctly that a large storm never seen before would hit the sea and the demon Ogura would go on a rampage until a hero appears to hunt down Ogura's minions one after the other.

Ogura leaves three bosses for Starfy to battle before he advances to Pufftop. Starfy, Moe and Old Man Lobber's main objective now is to defeat Ogura and bring peace back to Pufftop.

The yellow clam is revealed to be [[Moe]]. He reveals that "his dearest" [[Ruby]] was kidnapped by a bad guy called [[Konk]]. It was then Fork and his brother chased after him. Starfy and Moe become good friends, and Moe joins Starfy on his quest back to Pufftop, offering advice. Later, after destroying the Dentalium Shell and the Kettle that were blocking the water from flowing, Starfy finds and defeats Konk. Ruby returns and Moe is much happy to see her again. Starfy and Moe advance to [[Stranded Whale]].

Starfy and Moe decide to continue to help others on their way to Pufftop. Later in the quest, after Starfy and Moe clear the stage [[Sea of Ice]], Starfy finds an unknown demonic eel who came from the jar that Starfy knocked down before he fell into Lobber's Cave. He plans to submerge Starfy and Moe in the Deep Sea, and believes that the "strange clam" is unimportant and that Starfy is an annoyance.

Later on their adventure, Starfy advances to the [[Undersea Ruins]]. An ammonite called [[Horun]] then tries to attack Starfy and Moe. It is revealed that Horun was attacked by a huge creature resembling Starfy created by the demonic eel called [[Doppel]]. Horun tried to confront Doppel, but was left injured. Once Horun realizes who Starfy really is, he helps him and Moe find Pufftop.

Later, Starfy meets Old Man Lobber again, who asks Starfy if he can locate a legendary book called the [[Yogensho]] for him, which according to legend is said to be found in the temple. The two times that Starfy attempts to obtain the book, it disappears and he is blown away by the demonic eel. Old Man Lobber asks Starfy if he found the Yogensho, to which Starfy explains what happened. When Old Man Lobber says that Moe has gone missing, the demonic eel appears again and blows both Starfy and Old Man Lobber away.

When Starfy reunites with Old Man Lobber, he asks if Starfy arrived safely and if he can look for Moe. Moe has been kidnapped by a clam-eating squirrel known as [[Rarako]]. When Starfy finds Rarako, Rarako thanks him for his 'food' and gives Starfy what he was looking for — the Yogensho. Moe eventually escapes and Old Man Lobber finally gets to read the book. Moe is excited regarding the legends of the Yogensho, though it seems that he spoke too soon as the demonic eel appears to blow Starfy, Moe and Old Man Lobber away.

Starfy and Moe are taken away to the boss room with Doppel. The demonic eel brings Doppel to his full power and vanishes. After Starfy defeats Doppel, the demonic eel leaves behind the jar that Starfy dropped from Pufftop Palace and the Yogensho. Starfy, Moe and Old Man Lobber advance to the [[Sea of Sky]] that leads to Pufftop and Old Man Lobber begins to read the Yogensho. The Yogensho reveals that the demonic eel's name is [[Ogura]]. It prophesied correctly that a large storm never seen before would hit the sea and the demon Ogura would go on a rampage until a hero appears to hunt down Ogura's minions one after the other.

Ogura leaves three bosses for Starfy to battle before he advances to Pufftop. Starfy, Moe and Old Man Lobber's main objective now is to defeat Ogura and bring peace back to Pufftop.

In ''[[Densetsu no Starfy 2]]'', three of the Jellato Sisters are seen by Starfy in [[Slippery Ice Alpine]] (Stage 4-1). In a flashback from Kuriore, the three are attacked by {{PuchiOgura|4}}'s fire-breath. To check that her sisters are well, Kuriore gives out two letters to Starfy ([[Letter 1]] and [[Letter 2]]) and asks him to deliver them to the other two Jellato Sisters, Kuriora and Kyuuriore respectively. After Starfy locates them, they each leave a reply ([[Reply 1]] and [[Reply 2]]) and Starfy has to give both replies to Kuriore. The same three Jellato Sisters are found again in Stage 4-5. Starfy proceeds to find the [[Konbi]], who turn into their flame form and help heat up the pool, which forces the Ukizzu to panic and jump out. The Jellato Sisters then throw Moe back into the pool to thaw him out.

She's cut off by Fat Cat calling her out on her manners. Fat Cat has seen the one Starfy describes, but then he notices the crystal Starfy has, and he's seen something like the shards around the area as well.

He tells Starfy that Big Squiddy had one and about the temperature fluctuating from hot, to cold, then hot again.

Kit Fish gets an idea, she tells Starfy that there's 'a wise man with a white mustache' near, and he should see him. She tells him that he lives in [[Hotcha Springs]], on the other side of Gluglug Lagoon. But in order to get to him, Starfy has to go through Big Squiddy. She tells Starfy to be careful.

After escaping Big Squiddy, Starfy finds a Guard Uniform inside a treasure chest.

Starfy and Moe encounter the kid again, and they tell the two to get away from them. Moe tells them that they're not the bad guys, and that they just came back to give them the crystal that they keep dropping. The two introduce themselves to the kid. Moe asks the kid if they're okay, and the kid is fine, so they calm down. Moe asks the kid their name, and the kid respond with '[[Bunston]]', but their mind is still blank.

They remembered their name, and a little bit of their memory came back: They were being chased by bad guys, and they were protecting something. Moe asks what they were protecting and what the goons were chasing after, but Bunston doesn't know. It's probably something important.

Fat Cat has seen the one Starfy describes, but then he notices the crystal Starfy has, and he's seen something like the shards around the area as well.

He tells Starfy that Big Squiddy had one and about the temperature fluctuating from hot, to cold, then hot again.

Kit Fish gets an idea, she tells Starfy that there's 'a wise man with a white mustache' near, and he should see him. She tells him that he lives in [[Hotcha Springs]], on the other side of Gluglug Lagoon. But in order to get to him, Starfy has to go through Big Squiddy. She tells Starfy to be careful.

Moe asks the kid if they're okay, and the kid is fine, so they calm down. Moe asks the kid their name, and the kid respond with '[[Bunston]]', but their mind is still blank.

They remembered their name, and a little bit of their memory came back: They were being chased by bad guys, and they were protecting something. Moe asks what they were protecting and what the goons were chasing after, but Bunston doesn't know. It's probably something important.

Starfy wants to help Bunston get his memories back. Moe agrees, and Bunston apologizes for burdening them, but it's alright with Moe, since they don't have anything better to do.

Moe brings up the transformation that Bunston did to Starfy earlier, and Bunston mentions that he feels a connection with Starfy, and he can transform Starfy using his [[Monstar]] power.

Bunston transforms Starfy into Monstar, and Starfy clears a path by burning the weeds in front of them.

After clearing the path, Bunston brings up the crystal. it brought back memories, but he doesn't know what the shard is.

Starfy thinks that the shard broke off of something, and Bunston agrees with him. He comes to the conclusion that if they found what it broke off of, they can connect the pieces together, and Bunston's memory will come back. Bunston gives Bunston's Collection as a gift.

In a hidden room, you'll find treasure that contains a Calling All Challengers pamphlet.

Unfortunately the kid doesn't remember a thing, so Moe comes to the conclusion that the kid has amnesia. They return the crystal Starfy found earlier to them, and they remember something, and they get a flashback.

In ''[[Densetsu no Starfy]]'', the Kigurumi is a blue teddy bear. Use the control pad to move left or right. Press the B button to scare enemies. Press the A button to jump.

In ''[[Densetsu no Starfy 2]]'', it's a green koala. It has the same controls as Densetsu no Starfy's version until Starfy gets the upgrade. The upgrade is a red crocodile dressed in black.[[File:Kigurumi2.JPEG|thumb|''Densetsu no Starfy 2'''s upgraded Kigurumi, also known as Yanki Kigurumi.]] The player can press Select to switch between the koala and the crocodile.
