'''Starfy''' (originally called '''Stafi''', or romanized to '''Stafy''') is the main protagonist of [[The Legendary Starfy (series)|''The Legendary Starfy'' series]]. He is the Prince of the Pufftop Kingdom, along with his best friend, [[Moe]] the clam, and his sister, [[Starly]], live in the [[Pufftop Palace]]. It is unknown whether he is a star or starfish, as the creators say he is "neither". He acts somewhat childish (for instance, when he is happy, he makes high-pitched squeals). He is 36 cm tall and 7 years old. He is voiced by [[Kōrogi Satomi]] in Japanese commercials and ''[[The Legendary Starfy]]''.

Starfy goes on his first adventure during the events of ''[[Densetsu no Stafy]]''. Starfy was moving things around his home, until he dropped a Magic Jar that sealed [[Ogura]], which fell into the ocean. After the jar fell, thunderstorms and tornadoes blew Starfy into the ocean. Many new friends, such as [[Moe]] and [[Old Man Lobber]], helped Starfy to get back to [[Pufftop Kingdom]] and told him about Ogura and the Magic Lamp, and Starfy and his friends fought and sealed Ogura back into the Magic Jar.

Starfy starts out on yet his second adventure, as he falls from Pufftop once again, along with his best friend, [http://starfy.wikia.com/wiki/Moe Moe]. Also, his mom gets kidnapped by Ogura.

Starfy meets and helps a mysterious [[Bunston|bunny]] during the events of ''The Legendary Starfy''. One day, Starfy was having a peaceful nap, then a strange bunny crashed through the roof and landed on Starfy. Starfy stared and tried to make the unexpected visitor to talk, until [[The Terrible Trio|three shadowy goons]] crashed through the walls and tried to kidnap the bunny. Starfy gotten angry and used his [[Star Spin]] move on the goons, which made them run away. [[Moe]] entered Starfy's room and told him that the strange bunny figure jumped into the ocean, so Starfy and Moe went after him.

Once Starfy and Moe entered the ocean, they found the bunny, who was called Bunston, had amnesia and the only way to gain his memory back was finding [[Shard|shards]]. Starfy, Moe, and Bunston (sometimes Starly too) had to travel to [[Gluglug Lagoon]] and many other places to find every shards. Along the way, the shadowy goons, which was revealed to be a team of [[Snips]], [[Ronk]], and [[Papes]], tried to kidnap Bunston and stop Starfy and Moe from getting all of the shards.

Bunston's memory returned and remembered that he was a prince and his planet [[Bunnera]] was in danger by the evil [[Mashtooth]], so he used the shards to fix his rocket ship and he, Starfy, and Moe traveled to Bunnera. When Starfy, Bunston, and Moe entered the Bunnera Castle, Starfy dueled with Mashtooth and won, until Mashtooth absorbed Bunston's power and transformed into Mega Mashtooth. Starfy and Moe got beaten up by Mega Mashtooth until the Terrible Trio came and helped Starfy. Many of Starfy's friends cheered Starfy on, which gave him the strength to face Mega Mashtooth. Starfy pushed the Bunnera moon at Mega Mashtooth, which defeated him, gave the Bunnerans their powers back, and made Bunnera back in peace.

'''Mashtooth''' is the main villain and final boss in ''[[The Legendary Starfy]]''. He is a dragon-like space pirate who conquered [[Bunnera]] to absorb the powers of its inhabitants and become the most powerful force in the galaxy. He has two forms when facing him.

==Boss Battle==
===First Form===
At first, [[Bunston]] tries to help [[Starfy]] by turning him into his [[Monstar]] transformation, but it ends up with Mashtooth having a forcefield. The player loses the Monstar fight, and then reverts back to the normal Starfy. To defeat him in his first form, the player can keep using [[Star Spin]] or [[Shooting Star]] on him. He attacks by charging. When the player gets his health down to five, he turns temporarily invincible, then disappears and starts to shoot lightning down the screen. The lightning shoots down either left or right, and is difficult to dodge. When the player gets him down to at least three health, he will try to inhale Starfy with his nose and rocks will fly into Starfy. If the player get caught in his nose, the player must keep pressing left and right on the D-Pad in order to escape. If he or she doesn't get out in time, Mashtooth will swallow Starfy and the player must try it again. However, the best way to get away from him is to [[dash]]. A [[Star Spin]] can be used to break the rocks.

He transforms into '''Mega Mashtooth''' and flies off the screen. Attacking him three times will do damage. He'll shoot even bigger bolts of lightning, however they are easier to dodge than last time. Once Starfy gives him a bit more damage, he'll fly into the background and start to throw meteors at Starfy. Using the Star Spin to deflect them has chance of hitting Mashtooth, doing damage. At even lower health, he'll do both attacks at the same time. Once Starfy defeats him, he will throw the moon of [[Bunnera]] at Starfy. The player must rapidly press Y to deflect it. He'll throw it again, and this time it's even harder. If the player fails to deflect it, the moon will go into the background and destroy Starfy. Once Starfy deflects the moon again, it slams into Mashtooth, defeating him and then a cutscene ensues. Apparently, Mega Mashtooth and the meteors he throws have a 3D look.

Current: Yikes, this page had a lot of grammar errors, and the tense is messed up. Fixed a few of these, although it still needs to be better written.

They are related to the game Rock (Ronk), Paper (Papes), and Scissors (Snips), as shown in the end of the game where they challenge [[Starfy]] to a match of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Snips is known as '''Jan''' in Japan, while Ronk is '''Ken''', and Papes is '''Pon'''.

He fights using a shield and barges into you with it, but can easily be blown backward by [[Starfy]]'s [[Star Spin]]. Papes is also the funniest of the trio. He can`t jump as far as his colleagues.

This technique was first mentioned in Note No. 46: Snips's Diary- "The Forbidden Technique!":

It was finally used in Level 7-4, where they challenged Starfy to a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.

However, later on, they became a traitor to [[Mashtooth]] and used the Paper-Cut Crusher on him (Level 8-4).
