History
Story
spoiler
The story of Densetsu no Starfy 3 takes place sometime after the events of Densetsu no Starfy 2.

Starfy was walking around Pufftop Palace, when suddenly he tripped, the clouds began to darken and debris began to fall from the sky; shocking everyone in the area. A Pufftop Guard was panicking and asked king Papa Star what was happening. The Pufftop Guard thought this was nonsense and wondered if Ogura had escaped again. Papa Star replied that it was nonsense and explained that Ogura was in no doubt sealed in the jar. They began to wonder why this was happening.

The scene changes to show an unknown being sitting on a chair. He wondered if Ogura had conquered Pufftop yet. On realizing he hadn't, the unknown being struck a lightning bolt on the jar, destroying it completely and releasing Ogura. Ogura floats over to Starfy and others, telling them that the jar had been smashed into small pieces. Ogura explains that he won't be defeated as long as he has a personage by his side and attacks Moe and Starfy, leaving them dizzy. Ogura then flies far away from Pufftop, laughing.

Starfy, Moe, Papa Star stick together and discuss the situation. Moe wonders what Ogura meant by the personage. Papa Star says as the problem stands they cannot afford to leave it alone. He tells Moe and Starfy that they must pursue Ogura and defeat him somehow. Moe becomes angry and calls Papa Star an idiot. He notes that the jar has already been smashed into pieces, and believes on all accounts their adventure isn't going to be beneficial. Papa Star becomes angry with Moe and asks "what are you talking about?", arguing that the peace of Pufftop is at stake.

Later, "a girl" appears. She jumps around Pufftop Palace and bounces off Moe. She asks why Starfy and others are "wasting time", which angers Moe. The name of the girl is called Starly. Starly pushes both Starfy and Moe off of the edge of Pufftop towards the ocean while they resist. Starly successfully pushes them off of the edge and then jumps off with them. As in Densetsu no Starfy and Densetsu no Starfy 2, this time accompanied with both Starly and Moe, Starfy arrives at Lobber's Cave.

Starfy, Starly and Moe's quest is to bring peace back to Pufftop, as they find out about the unknown being and pursue Ogura. On the way, Starfy, Starly and Moe travel through ten stages, fight bosses and help solve other character's problems. It is revealed early in the game in a flashback that Ogura was actually working for Evil a long time ago, since Ogura was young. He ordered Ogura to conquer Pufftop and defeat the legendary Starfy. Yugudorajii tells Starly that Ogura fled towards Coral Coast muttering something. In the flashback it is revealed that he was muttering "not good, not good" and was rushing to find Evil.
Densetsu no Starfy, sometimes known as Densetsu no Stafy or The Legend of Starfy (Japanese: 伝説のスタフィー, literally Legendary Starfy or Legend of Starfy) is a Japan-only Game Boy Advance game released on September 6, 2002. "Stafy" is the official romanized name of Starfy in Japan; before the release of The Legendary Starfy, most places referred to the character as Stafy.

Densetsu no Starfy is the first game in The Legendary Starfy series.

This game was later released in Japan for the Wii U Virtual Console on July 29, 2015 for 702 yen (including tax), followed by its first worldwide release in July 12th 2024 as part of the Game Boy Advance service on the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.

This game began as a Game Boy game. In November 1995, Nintendo producer Hitoshi Yamagami's boss instructed him to create some kind of "floaty platformer". Hitoshi Yamagami would later collaborate with TOSE producer Yasuhiro Minamimoto. It originally went under development as a balloon-lifting game, until being reworked as a game where the player has to control a bubble with a Nintendo character in it and later a floating character. Both a jellyfish and a starfish were initial considerations, and a starfish was eventually chosen for the game.

Development on this game continued through 1998 and as such, Nintendo encouraged TOSE to rework this game for the Game Boy Color. In 2000, the Game Boy Color version underwent a period of promotion, where details about the game began to surface on the official Japanese Nintendo website. The game was shown at Nintendo Space World as Densetsu no Starfy for the Game Boy Color.

As the game was approaching its release for the Game Boy Color, it was again canceled and rebuilt for the Game Boy Advance which was only going to be released in 2001. Starfy was apparently going to be purely a starfish, until he was made to fall down from the sky, which supposedly invoked a community policy for TOSE to reply that Starfy is neither a star or a starfish when asked.

There are various differences between the Game Boy Color version and the final Game Boy Advance version still noticeable on Nintendo of Japan's page about the Nintendo Space World trial demo. For example, the official logo and some of the character artwork and names of characters were changed later in development, including Kyorosuke (Moe) who was originally known as "Kyororon". It should be noted however that the Nintendo Space World 2001 trial demo for the Game Boy Advance was promoted with the old logo used during the Game Boy Color period. There was also character artwork for the Game Boy Advance version from early in development, which although different (with the exception of Moe), were not final.

Densetsu no Starfy was re-released in Japan for the Wii U Virtual Console on July 29, 2015 for 702 yen (including tax).
Story
spoiler
Surrounded by the vast sea there is a kingdom high above the clouds called Pufftop. Living there is Starfy, the prince of Pufftop. Starfy is often careless and clumsy in nature. Times were normally peaceful in Pufftop, until Starfy was carrying around valuable treasure and he accidentally dropped a jar into the ocean. Just then, the being inside the jar used his magical powers to create a terrible storm. Tornadoes then struck the Pufftop Palace. Starfy struggled to hang on, and eventually dropped into the ocean showing his Done For pose. Starfy fell straight into Lobber's Cave, located on a small island.

A wise lobster, Old Man Lobber found Starfy in his cave and asked Starfy if he could hear him. After finding out that Starfy is OK, Old Man Lobber advises that Starfy should rest a while in his cave from the terrible storm. Old Man Lobber wonders what to do with Starfy, as he is too weak to return to Pufftop. Old Man Lobber mentions a friend of his, Herman and Starfy proceeds to find Herman.

Starfy finds Herman wearing an ordinary gray shell. He has lost his missing home; a conch shell called the Pretty Shell and Herman asks him to find it. After finding a Kettle, Herman, believing it may have been washed further, gives Starfy a key leading to another part of the level, where Starfy finds a tusk shell - the Dentalium Shell. After finding the tusk shell, Herman - who finds the shell too small - thinks that it is behind the rocks. He then teaches Starfy how to use the Star Spin attack. Later, Starfy finds the colorful conch shell and returns it to Herman. Herman is very grateful for Starfy and leads Starfy to the next stage, Coral Reef.

Herman asks Starfy to find his friend who is being chased by bad guys. One of the bad guys is seen swimming away, so Starfy follows him. Starfy advances to a room with two bad guys known as the Fork brothers. When Starfy finds them to be picking on a yellow clam, he defeats them with his Star Spin. The yellow clam is revealed to be Moe. He reveals that "his dearest" Ruby was kidnapped by a bad guy called Konk. It was then Fork and his brother chased after him. Starfy and Moe become good friends, and Moe joins Starfy on his quest back to Pufftop, offering advice. Later, after destroying the Dentalium Shell and the Kettle that were blocking the water from flowing, Starfy finds and defeats Konk. Ruby returns and Moe is much happy to see her again. Starfy and Moe advance to Stranded Whale.

Starfy and Moe decide to continue to help others on their way to Pufftop. Later in the quest, after Starfy and Moe clear the stage Sea of Ice, Starfy finds an unknown demonic eel who came from the jar that Starfy knocked down before he fell into Lobber's Cave. He plans to submerge Starfy and Moe in the Deep Sea, and believes that the "strange clam" is unimportant and that Starfy is an annoyance.

Later on their adventure, Starfy advances to the Undersea Ruins. An ammonite called Horun then tries to attack Starfy and Moe. It is revealed that Horun was attacked by a huge creature resembling Starfy created by the demonic eel called Doppel. Horun tried to confront Doppel, but was left injured. Once Horun realizes who Starfy really is, he helps him and Moe find Pufftop.

Later, Starfy meets Old Man Lobber again, who asks Starfy if he can locate a legendary book called the Yogensho for him, which according to legend is said to be found in the temple. The two times that Starfy attempts to obtain the book, it disappears and he is blown away by the demonic eel. Old Man Lobber asks Starfy if he found the Yogensho, to which Starfy explains what happened. When Old Man Lobber says that Moe has gone missing, the demonic eel appears again and blows both Starfy and Old Man Lobber away.

When Starfy reunites with Old Man Lobber, he asks if Starfy arrived safely and if he can look for Moe. Moe has been kidnapped by a sea otter known as Rarako. When Starfy finds Rarako, Rarako thanks him for his 'food' and gives Starfy what he was looking for — the Yogensho. Moe eventually escapes and Old Man Lobber finally gets to read the book. Moe is excited regarding the legends of the Yogensho, though it seems that he spoke too soon as the demonic eel appears to blow Starfy, Moe and Old Man Lobber away.

Starfy and Moe are taken away to the boss room with Doppel. The demonic eel brings Doppel to his full power and vanishes. After Starfy defeats Doppel, the demonic eel leaves behind the jar that Starfy dropped from Pufftop Palace and the Yogensho. Starfy, Moe and Old Man Lobber advance to the Sea of Sky that leads to Pufftop and Old Man Lobber begins to read the Yogensho. The Yogensho reveals that the demonic eel's name is Ogura. It prophesied correctly that a large storm never seen before would hit the sea and the demon Ogura would go on a rampage until a hero appears to hunt down Ogura's minions one after the other.

Ogura leaves three bosses for Starfy to battle before he advances to Pufftop. Starfy, Moe and Old Man Lobber's main objective now is to defeat Ogura and bring peace back to Pufftop.
Picture Book
Densetsu no Starfy/Picture Book
Densetsu no Starfy is the first game to feature the Picture Book, known in Densetsu no Starfy 3 as the Trading Cards and Toys in the North American and Australian versions of The Legendary Starfy. The Picture Book is listing of characters and enemies by Stage, though Densetsu no Starfy 2 and Densetsu no Starfy 3 lists enemies found by Vehicles in a separate section, while Densetsu no Starfy 4 and The Legendary Starfy lists friends in their own section instead of grouping them with the enemies.

Each character and enemy has their own comment that is read by Moe and an animated version of their sprite is shown. The Nintendo Official Guidebooks use different descriptions, however.

Some characters and enemies are rare and can only be encountered after beating the game for the first time. The challenge of completing the Picture Book was advertised as a selling point of Densetsu no Starfy prior to release on the Nintendo Space World 2001 official mini-site.

When the Picture Book is complete, the game shows a "Perfect!" (Japanese: パーフェクト！) screen with Starfy and Moe jumping up and down, Old Man Lobber, and fish coming out of the Picture Book every time the player chooses to load it. This screen is not included in the other games.
Densetsu no Starfy reportedly uses a battery save instead of flash memory. ==Trivia==
*This is the only Starfy game where Starfy starts with Glide and does not have to learn it to use it.
*This game, along with The Legendary Starfy, are the only games that don't have Moe's House as a feature. Instead, Densetsu no Starfy features the List that has the Picture Book, Treasure Items, Minigames and Photograph options, as well as an Extra! option that is a menu where the Sea Jams, Staff Rolls and Endings are accessible.
*This game, along with Densetsu no Starfy 4, have the least amount of stages in the Starfy series with nine stages.
*This is the only Starfy game that doesn't have Air Jump, Duck, Duck & Slide, and Shooting Star.
*Fukafuka is the only character Starfy cannot meet until completion of the game.
*This is the only Starfy game where Starfy doesn't keep his own Pearls but instead stores them in Moe.
**This is also the only Starfy game without a shop.
*This is the only Starfy game where when comboing enemies there is no interlude between Starfy gaining one Pearls and Starfy gaining one big Pearl. In the other Starfy games, Starfy or Starly would gain two pearls right away after comboing for the second Pearl.
*In this game Starfy's sprite looks a little different than in the other Starfy games of the Game Boy Advance, and it is the only Starfy game where the dizziness sound effect and the low health sound effect are completely different than in the other Starfy games, and likely leftovers from Densetsu no Stafy (GBC).
*This is the only Starfy game to not have costumes.
*This game, along with Densetsu no Starfy 4, are the only ones to not have upgrades for the transformations.
*There is a small glitch in this game, similar to one in The Legendary Starfy where Starfy can attack straight through some one hit enemies without the rebound pushback effect that he gets for attacking enemies.
*The Duck & Slide ability is replaced with a function that allows Starfy to instantly stop running.
*This is the only game where Starfy doesn't need the Ultra Star Spin to beat the game.
*This is the only game where Starfy doesn't need any of the transformations to beat the game the first time.
*It is the only Starfy game in the series that was originally made for the Game Boy and later the Game Boy Color rather than the Game Boy Advance.
*There is a glitch in this game that allows Starfy to take control of the attract mode and skip to any stage from the second stage, though it is impossible to complete the Picture Book this way.
*As of September 6, 2017 onward, a Densetsu no Starfy fan translation is being worked on.
*During development, both the Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Color prototypes' names were marked （仮称, tentative）, which may suggest the name was not fully decided, but the game was released as Densetsu no Starfy anyway.
A Chinese version of this game was planned for iQue series as 斯塔非的传说 (pronounced "Sitafei De Chuanshuo") (Chinese Nintendo console brand), but never released. It is officially referred to as "The Legend of Stafy" in staff credits. The ROM image of a release candidate of this localization along with Densetsu no Starfy 2 was leaked to the public in March 2019.
An additional localization prototype also exists with its own font. It appears to have been intended for an official English release, based on the account of an anonymous owner of a prototype, but cancelled. In the prototype version, Moe is known as "Kyoro" (shortened from his Japanese name Kyorosuke), and one of the conversations with him features profanity (an easy mistake to mistake from translation of derogatory Japanese words without regard to connotations, audience and impact).

The prototype came with 128M flash memory in a regular colored Game Pak but resembles a special type of cartridge such as a rumble or tilt cart. It is also marked with a red sticker with the writing Tose 四条分室 (Shijo Branch Office) No 062 (possibly Shijo Street in Kyoto; the city where Tose operates). The prototype was found on an eBay listing from a seller of various prototypes, according to an October 2018 archived 4ch thread.
History
Story

History
Story

Story
Densetsu no Starfy 2 takes place sometime after the events of its predecessor, Densetsu no Starfy. Times in the kingdom of Pufftop were peaceful once again after Ogura was trapped inside the jar, but not until too long. Ogura was thinking how to escape from the jar for a long time. The jar was contained in a small room. One day, Starfy was playing with Moe while one of the Pufftop Guards was sleeping.

Inside of the jar, Ogura moaned about Starfy and his parents. Later, Ogura thought about Starfy's family and had an idea. Ogura threw two black orbs out from his nose towards the top of the jar. They fell down and began to multiply and they soon developed into ten children which Ogura named the "Puchi Ogura". Ogura said it would be easy for them to escape from the jar as they are small. He then asked the ten Puchi Ogura to cause a storm, so they agreed and escaped from the jar and caused another storm to hit Pufftop. The storm frightened Starfy, Moe, Papa Star, Mama Star and the Pufftop Guards as debris fell from the sky. Starfy then hid in Moe's clam for safety. The storm caused the jar to topple over and release Ogura and the Puchi Ogura. Ogura floated over to the main room of the Pufftop Palace, happy to be out at last and kidnapped Mama Star as revenge for Starfy trapping him inside of the jar. This terrified Starfy who then jumped out of Moe's clam and ran after Ogura and Mama Star.

Ogura leads Starfy to the edge of Pufftop Palace and Ogura floats down towards the ocean. Starfy cries and runs off to rescue Mama Star. Moe clings on to Starfy, telling him that it would take much effort for him to return to Pufftop. Starfy resists, so Starfy and Moe both fall off the edge of Pufftop on to a beach. Moe moans at Starfy, who is tearful and Starfy begins to cry, which Moe finds annoying. Starfy eventually stops crying. Moe asks Starfy to follow him and reassures him that he can get help from Old Man Lobber when he is troubled.

Like in Densetsu no Starfy, Starfy and Moe help solve the problems of various characters as the player advances through stages. Ogura now has his own castle, and Starfy must advance through eleven stages to get to it and confront Ogura. The first ten stages have a boss battle with each of the ten Puchi Ogura and the final stage has a boss battle with Ogura.

While Mama Star was kidnapped, she dropped several treasures, known as Stuff for Starfy to collect every level. Some of them were stolen by the Puchi Ogura and can be obtained by defeating them at the end of each stage.

This game was later released in Japan for the Wii U Virtual Console on July 29, 2015 for 702 yen (including tax), followed by it's first worldwide release in July 12th 2024 as part of the Game Boy Advance service on the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.

Technical information
Densetsu no Starfy reportedly uses a battery save instead of flash memory. This may be the cause of a certain data corruption glitch where both save files on the File Select screen become corrupted and the game prompts the player to restore an invalid Suspend Save.
Trivia

I was thinking about adding either "World" or "Levels", along with "Minigames" to the contents part of the page, but it would seem kind of redundant with the "Locations" part there... - BattleFranky202 21:08, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

:I think we should scrap "locations" for "worlds" (which are officially called stages btw) and "levels." I also think we should remove "playable characters" since there are only 2 (unless you count Bunston and his transformations) --Starfy 17:50, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

::Yeah, good point. Should we just leave 6 contents up there? - BattleFranky202 18:52, 26 June 2009 (UTC)

::: I don't know what you mean, but whatever works --Starfy 00:06, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

::So far, there are 8 contents: Characters, Playable characters, Enemies, Bosses, Locations, Transformations, Gameplay, Minigames. You suggested we take down "playable characters" and replace "locations" with "worlds". I think locations should stay, but you're right, playable characters have to go. - BattleFranky202 02:01, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

:::Locations could stay, but I think it would be awkward having Stages (or worlds if you call them that) and Locations. There aren't any locations that I can think of that aren't stages. It doesn't really matter which one we chose because they end up being having the same contents. If you wanted to reduce the number of categories on the front page you could combine transformations with gameplay and call it something like "abilities" --Starfy 13:23, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Densetsu No Stafy Mangas
Did you know there are mangas for the Starfy series? There are mangas for 1, 2, 3, and 4. I haven't been able to find pictures of 3's manga, but I have found some pictures of the other 3:

Volume 1 cover

http://sbookg.s-book.com/sol/sky_gif/tanko_file_photo/143141.gif

http://sbookg.s-book.com/sol/sky_gif/tanko_file_photo/140685.gif

Here is one of the pages of Volume 1:

http://sbookg.s-book.com/sol/sky_gif/tanko_sample/143141.gif

Here is one of the pages of Volume 2:

http://sbookg.s-book.com/sol/sky_gif/tanko_sample/143142.gif

And here is one of the pages of Volume 4:

http://sbookg.s-book.com/sol/sky_gif/tanko_sample/140685.gif

I haven't been able to find the full mangas, but the pictures look pretty good! If anybody here has the mangas, you should add some pictures from them and info about them. Maybe they have some things that weren't in the games. It also makes me question if we will ever see a Starfy anime (Although there are anime shorts/commercials, those don't really count)...

Duplicate articles
We have duplicates of the Densetsu no Stafy 1, 2 and 3 articles using the US localized Starfy (e.g. Densetsu no Starfy) in their titles instead of Stafy. Should these pages be converted into redirects? --Torchickens 21:41, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

The Poll
What just happened with the poll??? It seems about 21 voters or so just joined and voted on the poll. It seems a lot of them voted for Mashtooth (Probably because he is the villain from the only English game in the series so far)...

Starfy Wiki's domain will be transferring tomorrow to a different registrar, during this time (~7 days) http://starfywiki.org will most likely be unavailable. I have setup http://starfy.gam1ng.com as a temporary fix so that it is sill possible to work on the wiki. Sorry for the rush of this but it needs to be done. The transfer will start sometime tomorrow (2/22/2011). I ask that you start using http://starfy.gam1ng.com
that way if there are any issues I can solve that before the transfer. You can contact me by e-mailing: tappy(at)zeldafan.net thanks.
NIWA Contact page
I was going to PM the other staff about this via the NIWA forums, but I thought that it would be more efficient to discuss it here. On the NIWA contact page there is no section for Starfy Wiki. The Forgotten Beast and I unfortunately haven't heard a response from BattleFranky since April. Does anybody in particular want to take the responsibility of responding to emails, or are the others fine if I just use my email address (chickasaurus@hotmail.co.uk)?

Additionally, should we have a Starfy board on NIWA forums, or should it link back to Starfy Wiki, what does everyone else think? I'm addressing this to everyone who reads this.
A few months ago, Densetsu no Stafy [#] and Densetsu no Starfy [#] were duplicate articles, so The Forgotten Beast moved all Densetsu no Stafy to Densetsu no Starfy. Should we stick to this plan of using Densetsu no Starfy?
:I didn't go about changing every instance of 'Stafy' to 'Starfy', but did when editing some of the articles which needed to be edited for other things like adding navboxes because I wasn't really sure what we thought about it and didn't want to go around changing absolutely everything. On one hand, Stafy is the original Japanese title and the Game Boy Advance games and Densetsu no Sta(rf)y 4 were never released outside of Japan, though on the other hand Starfy is the localized name, and calling sutafī 'Stafy' assumes Japanese phonology for an English Wiki, where Starfy is still called Stafy in The Legendary Starfy in Japan. ==NIWA Meeting Round up==
Hello, recently, there was a NIWA Staff Meeting. I didn't know about this until recently, so I decided to join in to represent us.

#So, during the meeting, founder of NIWA Liam asked for us to add more interwiki links to our sidebar and such, this will increase Google Rating, Overall traffic, etc. Well, We can also add to our traffic by creating an Affiliates section. Here is an example: here. This could help us greatly. We would need a banner, and a wave of affiliates. I can affiliate us with F-Zero Wiki and Icaruspedia, but we need more than just that. So, what do you guys think?
#We have also been encouraged to reach out to other sites for affiliation. Maybe not Starfy related, but general Nintendo fan sites?
Affiliation ideas
:There is a web-comic called Starfy's Journal, but I don't know how active they are at the present moment, as their last update was in March, 2010. I would recommend two really active Starfy fan-sites, both in Japanese. The first is Colorful Planet - it's also a Zelda, Pokémon, MOTHER and Metroid fansite and it's also a good resource for Starfy music. There is also 今更　りとるY様 - a Starfy fan-art blog who usually have weekly activity. I'm sure they'd appreciate us, but the language barrier would make it difficult to communicate. Star_Light, however who has experience with the Japanese language may be able to help us in that respect.

:As for non-Starfy, non-NIWA sites it would probably be best to look for Nintendo fan-sites actively seeking affiliation. Unfortunately I don't know of such sites in particular, because many Nintendo sites like GoNintendo and NinDB are already well-established and may not be interested in us. :( The N-Wiki is affiliated with a German Nintendo Wiki though... --Torchickens 22:01, 21 January 2012 (EST)

:I've got nothing on non-NIWA websites, but being one of the heads of Donkey Kong Wiki I declare an affiliation between my two main wikis! (except we don't have a banner for DK Wiki...). I'm also the head and founder of numerous wikis on Wikia, can wikia wikis affiliate or do we have a rule about that? -The Forgotten Beast 22:26, 21 January 2012 (EST)
::I would agree with affiliating with Donkey Kong Wiki :). I don't know if we can link to Wikia wikis unfortunately, I'll look into it on the NIWA forums tomorrow. Fundamentally, I don't see a problem; and although to a degree we stand against what Wikia is doing, I don't believe there should be the stigma against Wikia communities themselves, and I think that's something which should probably be stressed by the NIWA community. On the Starfy Wikia, I believe we were affiliated with Starfy Fanon Wiki? --Torchickens 22:41, 21 January 2012 (EST)
:::We were affiliated with the fanon wiki but it appeared to have sort of died out. -The Forgotten Beast 22:44, 21 January 2012 (EST)
:That's a shame about Starfy Fanon Wiki. Well, I had a look through the NIWA forums and it looks like there isn't any hard rule on not being able to affiliate with a non-independent Wiki. When Wikisimpsons requested affiliation with NIWA, they were originally still hosted on Shoutbox and the consensus was that they shouldn't be declined hosting for being hosted on Shoutbox. In the same discussion, Adam from Wikirby later suggested that if a good Wikia site ever wanted to affiliate with NIWA, then it would be "foolish to turn them down". For this reason, I don't think there's anything against us being able to affiliate with the other Wikis which you manage. We haven't got a response from the art requests thread yet on SEIWA Alliance yet, but since then Starphoria designed a banner. Should we tell them that we are ready for affiliation, or wait a little longer first? --Torchickens 09:30, 22 January 2012 (EST)
:::I would make sure the Wikia wiki is well developed at least and quite active. Pikmin Fanon is affiliated with Fantendo, so Wikia wikis are not against a rule. :Apply our current skin to a brand new skin. :3 Maybe something like Fire Emblem Wiki, Golden Sun Universe, etc. Everything would be the same, with the same background and a similar sidebar, same color scheme, same transparency image, and same rounded tabs, but it would look awesome. It would look bigger and we could make it look even more of a seascape. Heck, we could even have an image of the surface of the ocean where the header is. It would look awesome. I would appreciate it if someone from Starfy wiki could check in. Thank you. == Starfy Wiki Is Under Attack ==

The headline says it all. Someone who works at the same place as me (I would love to be more specific than that...) is in the final stages of planning a massive attack on this wiki. He's been gloating about it for days on end. He knows this wiki well, and he's telling me that the attack will involve hijacking a number of accounts on this wiki. I dread to think how he intends to do this; I have a suspicion he may once have been (or may still be) an admin. To the best of my knowledge, the attack will be launched today or tomorrow. Please take heed! --Sid (talk) 23:22, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
I am thinking it would be cool to add a new section about Stage Maps.
I have searched around a long time trying to find good maps for the basic layout of each of he stages. So I decided I'd do them for myself. The maps won't be so detailed I think. They will only contain basic information like which door leads to which and where is the boss located. I wondered it'd be cool if there where maps with little spoiler information or little guidelines, just like the super Metroid map. I think it would fit Starfy well since after beating the game, the post-game missions (like obtaining all the treasures in Densetsu no Stafy) require a lot of exploration in each level. I am going to begin to work on the maps today or soon enough, so feel free to tell me if like or don't like the idea. :Sorry for the two year-late reply. :( This sounds great ^^. Note you can find a lot in the Nintendo Official Guidebooks but yeah, emulator quality can be nice. Torchickens (talk) 22:40, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
Mass block
There is a mass delete feature we use, I wonder if anyone knowledgeable about MediaWiki knows if there's an equivalent to mass block the spam accounts which keep coming. Torchickens (talk) 22:40, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
:I know, I'm replying to a 2 year old question, but since it's still an issue, I'll explain something I came across recently that may help. Over on the Mediawiki Support Desk, I found out some information about an extension that lets you delete a ton of accounts at once. The downside is that the extension connected to this is archived, meaning it most likely won't work on this wiki. HOWEVER, if you were an admin of course, you could manually delete each of the accounts that haven't made any edits. Once that's done, it's just the matter of keeping an eye for new accounts just like this. I know that it would take a very long time, but maybe creating (or promoting) a few new admins would speed the process. Even I would be happy to help. --Logangsta (talk) 23:53, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
