'''Kittana''' ('''Nyanzo''' in Japan) is a ninja cat and [[Shurikit]]'s main rival and friend. His first appearance was in ''[[Densetsu no Starfy 3]]'', and he has since appeared in ''[[Densetsu no Starfy 4]]'' and ''[[The Legendary Starfy]]''. Unlike Shurikit he does not wear a mask. He wears an eye-patch, but because the eye-patch constantly flips he seems to wear it for fashion. He is very honorable and he takes his rivalry with Shurikit with the utmost of seriousness, although Shurikit does not take their rivalry so seriously. He was the one that originally taught [[Starly]] how to [[Wall Jump]]. In ''Densetsu no Starfy 4'', he also appears to be friends with [[Coral]].

==In ''[[The Legendary Starfy]]''==
In the game he is found in [[Glitzem Grotto]], and challenges [[Starfy]] to the "Kittana and the Mine-Car Battle" [[Side Quests|Side Quests]], consisting of Kittana and the Mine-Car Battle Part 1 (No. 13) and Kittana and the Mine-Car Battle Part 2 (No. 15). The first Side Quest requires Starfy to reach the finish of a mine car ride, whilst avoiding Kittana's 'furious attacks'. Kittana will throw bombs and spikes towards Starfy. If Starfy gets hit three times, he will fail the minigame. If Starfy succeeds, will Kittana grant the player access to Glitzem Grotto's [[???? (Areas)|Area Secret 1]].

In the second Side Quest, Starfy must defeat Kittana by firing cannonballs at him using the Y button. He will create many illusory copies of himself which all disappear after one cannonball each, in addition to throwing bombs and spikes at Starfy. He will also occasionally throw a kitten-like enemy towards Starfy's path, which can be defeated by jumping on it via the B button. As before, Starfy is given three health points and must avoid getting hit by Kittana's attacks. If Starfy manages to defeat Kittana, he will grant the player access to Glitzem Grotto's Area Secret 3.

In Moon's [[Densetsu no Starfy 3/Trading Cards|Trading Card]], Moe wonders if she's working for Manta-han so she can buy a lot of accessories.
