==General==
*All grammar and spelling corrections are greatly appreciated!
*Help with Japanese is also appreciated.

==Improving existing articles==
*Add line breaks to articles where necessary. Some articles like the music ones need them, which may have happened after a MediaWiki update.
*Add categories to articles, such as the species of characters and enemies.
*Mention the boulder glitch.
*Work on [[:category:incomplete articles|incomplete articles]].
**Add missing [[smashwiki:Sticker|Sticker]] names from ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'' to [[List of Korean character and enemy names]].
**Check through websites to potentially add to [[List of The Legendary Starfy series fansites]].
**Add differences in character names, names of abilities, location names, etc. to [[The Legendary Starfy/Regional differences]].
*Add in the '(x) manga' sections to characters, locations, etc. and add a brief summary of their role in the manga.
*Expand current [[:category:Article stubs|stubs]]. In particular more character specific information; it would be great to more thoroughly fill out the biographies of every character in every game some day.
*Work on uploading files for [[:category:Imageless Articles|imageless articles]].
*As suggested by {{user|Jubei}}, move the Japan-only character names to their [[Fan translations of The Legendary Starfy series|fan translation]] name.
*Adjust links to redirects to the actual article.

*Add the [[iQue]] names to each character's template
*Move Toy descriptions to be part of the character or enemies' template (as may have been suggested a long time ago (Wikia era))
*Find out names for more objects and create articles on them. Possible article: [[lift]]. However, if the name cannot be found it's OK and Template:Conjectural may be added. A list of articles in this category is [[:Category:Articles with conjectural names|here]].
*Give the [[Stuff]] clothes/accessories/specials their own articles, as we have already have music articles. Content in this article could be how to obtain the relevant item and a description alongside the image.
*Document the missing [[Densetsu no Starfy (Sayori Abe)]] manga.
*Check sites like Yahoo Auctions Japan, Rakuten, eBay, Mercari for possible rare undocumented [[List of The Legendary Starfy series merchandise|merchandise]].
*Add possible extra details about merchandise, as more information (the text below the logo) was found after {{user|Torchickens}} purchased the [[Densetsu no Starfy B5 Notebook]], and additional [[Densetsu no Starfy Gummi Candy]] information was also recently found (however sometimes this may require purchasing the item).
**Upload a better comparison image for [[Densetsu no Starfy 4 stuffed toy]] and [[Big Starfy stuffed toy]], as the current was cropped out from a video.
*Replace texts for certain articles which have since had their name changed (e.g. Slippery Ice Alpine to Slippery Iceberg).

She made her first appearance in ''[[Densetsu no Starfy 3]]'', and is usually quite rude and always pushes [[Moe]] and Starfy to their limits to do something, although more responsible than Starfy. ==Before Densetsu no Starfy 3==
Somtime after Starfy was born in Pufftop Kingdom to Papa Star and Mama Star, his sister Starly was born. She did not go on an adventure when Ogura was freed from the Magic Jar the first two times, but when Evil sets Ogura free by destroying the Magic Jar, is the time that Starly would have her first adventure with Starfy and Moe.

After [[Ogura]] escapes [[Pufftop]], Starly interrupts Papa Star and Moe's conversation. Moe had never seen Starly before, so she introduced herself as Starfy's younger sister. Eventually she decides to join Starfy and Moe on their quest to find Ogura. She then pushes them both to the sea and jumps to join them.

In [[Lobber's Cave]]'s [[Area]] 4, Starfy, and Moe meet Konk again while Starly meets him for the first time. Konk attacks Moe and Starly sending them flying away from Starfy and he has to find them. Starly finds herself alone and she tries to get back to Starfy and Moe, on her way back she meets Yggdra-jii who tells her that he saw Ogura flying towards the [[Coral Coast]]. Later Starly overhears Konk say that while he looks cool under a spotlight, it makes him too hot to wear his protective helmet. Getting an idea Starly keeps it over him despite Konk's attempts to move out of it making him lose the helmet and Starly getting it. Unfortunately, Konk notices her and he corners her. But just as Konk is about to hurt Starly unless she gives him back his helmet, Starfy and Moe appear scaring Konk into the boss room and rescuing Starly. Konk fights Starfy again, but he loses again because without his helmet, he is vulnerable to Starfy's star spins again.

Later in [[Misty Town]]’s [[Area]] 2, Starly and Moe are oblivious that knives and chairs are aiming right for them, Starfy however notices and he pushes them out of the way only for him to get trapped by the cutlery and furniture himself. Starly rescues Starfy by blowing up the objects with a bomb. Later in Area 3 when Starfy, Starly and Moe catch up with Mad Piero, he gives a treasure chest to Starfy but it is really a trap and it imprisons Starfy. Mad Piero then takes the treasure chest and hides in Area 4, essentially kidnapping Starfy. Starly has to rescue him again by attacking the treasure chest enemy that has Starfy in it.

Then in [[Kachiwari Iceberg]]'s [[Area]] 1, Starfy and Starly find [[Saint Nak]]s sack of presents but they get into an argument over who will deliver it, Starly storms off and goes on her own, then in Area 3 she says she will catch Ogura all by herself but, when she hears that a [[Taruika]] is trapped in a room full of strong currents and she tries to help it, when she gets to the same room as it, she realizes that she is trapped as she can't fight the strong currents and she cries. Later Starfy rescues her from the currents and Starly apologizes for arguing with him and they both decide to work together as a team and no longer fight with each other.

After [[Mattel]] tells Starfy and friends about the trouble at the [[Amiy Kingdom]], Starly talks about [[Ruby]] to Moe. She was most likely trying convince him to help her and Starfy save the Amiy Kingdom to impress Ruby. Later, all three of them return to the sea.

In ''The Legendary Starfy'', players can join one another, one of them playing as Starly. Starly has special moves players playing as Starfy cannot learn or use, such as jumping off of walls. She appears smaller (in-game) than Starfy, and is always seen wearing her pink bow. To access playing as Starly, Moe will ask Starfy if he wants Starly to join them. Players can also choose to "be" Starly via the select button to change the character shown in the [[Stuff]] menu, though this will not change the actual character in game.

Starly is featured in a [[minigames|mini-game]] called "[[Dumpling Master]]". She and the player make dumplings to give to Starfy, who then feeds them to Moe. She also makes two small appearances in other mini-games. One is after the results are shown for "Coin Slinger". She can also be seen in the audience of stars. Another is in [[Fishing Derby]]. She puts bait in the water and Moe comes. Starly will be the only pink one wearing her signature bow.

After defeating the final boss, a new world will open up. It is [[Pufftop]], and the player character is Starly in this world.

'''Blantern''' is a boss in ''[[Densetsu no Starfy]]'', who appears in [[Deep Sea]]. He/She appears to be a [[wikipedia:glowfish|glowfish]], and has minions known as the [[Buranko]]. In the game, Blantern and the Buranko stole the [[Tone of Ocean (instrument)|Tone of Ocean]] from [[Wotsaruto]], and hid it in a large side-scrolling room with arrow buttons which change the direction that the screen is scrolling when [[Starfy]] uses a [[Star Spin]] on them.

In the boss battle with Blantern, he/she will spawn Buranko on to the screen to attack Starfy. Blantern will blend into the background if the room is too dark, and remains invincible unless enough Buranko are spawned to light up the area. When enough Buranko are on the screen, the room will be bright enough for Starfy to attack Blantern with a [[Star Spin]], but if the Buranko move off the screen or are defeated by Starfy, the player will have to wait until enough Buranko appear on the screen.

*Blantern, like many old men in the series, uses the pronoun [[Japanese_First_Person_Pronouns#Washi_(儂/わし/ワシ)|Washi]] in Japanese.
**However, unlike the many old characters that use it, he does not have the honorific Jii (じい) or Jiisan じいさん) in his name.
**Blantern shares these similarities with [[Boctopus]] and [[Ogura]], who are the only other bosses in the game to use Washi.

He is the first boss in the first four games of the series, and also the bonus boss in level 9 of the ''[[The Legendary Starfy]]''. He is a well known bully who constantly pesters [[Starfy]] and his friends, however he is hardly considered a dangerous threat and is seen as more of an annoying nuisance. He appears to have an odd quirk where in the middle of his sentences, he tends to blurt out the word, ''"KONK!"'', hence his name.

After the first stage of the Tree of Beginnings, Starfy, Starly, and Moe come across a giant cherry tree. Starly finds it cool and pretty, but Moe instead calls it so big that it's creepy, which causes Amiiyoshino to first reveal herself, taking offense to being called creepy. She introduces herself as the 10,000 year old who's "as spritely as a 16 year old". In spite of this, Starly calls her "Granny" (ばあちゃん/Baa-chan, lit. Old woman in JP), which offends Amiiyoshino, refusing to tell the trio who might have stolen the [[Mon Amour Stone]]. Moe calls her "Miss" (おねえさん/Oneesan, lit. Miss, or young woman), which makes Amiiyoshino lighten up. She says that she won't tell them the information for free, making Starfy get some treasure for her using the [[Kelkie]].

==Personality==
Starfy is a nice and friendly character who likes to solve other people's problems. Starfy smiles almost all of the time, and this may portray him as a content and relaxed person. Although Starfy shows negative emotions such as sadness and fear, these are shown often only for a short time. His best friend Moe gave him emotional support to stop crying in ''Densetsu no Starfy 2'' after his mother [[Mama Star]] was kidnapped by Ogura, and Moe tried to raise Starfy's spirits in his room when it was revealed that [[Mattel]]; Starfy's crush was engaged to [[Coral]]. In ''The Legendary Starfy'', Starfy may come over as childish in the way that he makes high pitched squeals when he is happy.

Starfy is apparently very forgetful in the way that he forgets most of his [[abilities]] for each game and has to relearn them. Starfy is also very lazy, even though according to his ''Super Smash Bros. Brawl'' [[smashwiki:trophy|trophy]] he tries his hardest when he sets his mind to something. In ''The Legendary Starfy'', according to a [[Pufftop Guard]], he gets up to eat a late breakfast, takes a nap before he goes out to play, takes a second nap, eats lunch and then has another nap. According to Starly's trophy from ''Super Smash Bros. Brawl'', Starfy is sometimes spineless, and this may be supported by how Starfy ran around freaked out and hid inside of Moe's shell when debris started to fall during the opening of ''Densetsu no Starfy 2'', after Ogura had escaped from the jar with the help of the [[Puchi Ogura]]. Starfy occasionally shows to be brave though, through being persistent in his efforts and through fighting [[boss]]es.

In the ''[[Densetsu no Starfy R]]'' manga, a good example of how Starfy can come across brave is in the final chapter, "[[DSR13|For Those Whom I Must Protect......]]" where Starfy went into the sky to puncture a hole in a meteor and pushed it off course, but it is possible that Starfy's desire to help Mattel by saving the [[Amiy Kingdom]] influenced Starfy.

Though Starfy likes adventure, he acted against starting an adventure in ''Densetsu no Starfy 3''. In the beginning of ''Densetsu no Starfy 3'', Starly was the first one to take action and do something about the problem surrounding how the jar was destroyed and the fact that Ogura's personage ([[Evil]]) was around. She forced Starfy and Moe into their third adventure by pushing them into the ocean while they resisted.

In ''The Legendary Starfy'', Starfy was eager to help [[Bunston]] from the start after he crashed through Starfy's room and ran away. Starfy went off the edge of Pufftop even though Moe grabbed Starfy and tried to stop him. Additionally, after Starfy successfully defeated [[Ogura]], trapped him back inside the jar and returned to Pufftop, he knocked over forty five [[treasure|treasure chests]] while wandering around, so this caused Moe to chase Starfy and this lead to Starfy knocking over the jar again. Starfy proved to be persistent however by collecting all forty five [[Treasure Items]], trapping Ogura in the jar again, and temporarily bringing peace back to Pufftop.

Starfy has a liking for [[treasure]], but not as much as [[Moe]] or [[Wario]]. Starfy's hobbies include collecting [[sunglasses]], and according to [[℃-ute]]'s version of the series' Title Song, making pretend transformations (either referring to wearing [[Stuff]]; as the video shows Starfy wearing Stuff after this line, or the transformations/vehicles Starfy uses in the game. Starfy's other hobby could also be both).

Starfy may come across as eccentric in some cases. In [[DSR01|chapter one of the ''Densetsu no Starfy R'' manga]] ("Starfy's Love Attack"), Starfy wore spiral glasses, a "hissho" [[wikipedia:hachimaki|hachimaki]] headband and a thick tattered suit in Pufftop Palace after he developed a crush on Mattel. Starfy became angry and used his [[Star Spin]] move on the goons, which made them run away. Along the way, the shadowy goons, which was revealed to be a team of [[Snips]], [[Ronk]], and [[Papes]], tried to kidnap Bunston and stop Starfy and Moe from getting all of the shards.

Bunston's memory returned and remembered that he was a prince and his planet [[Planet Bunnera|Bunnera]] was in danger by the evil [[Mashtooth]], so he used the shards to fix his rocket ship and he, Starfy, and Moe traveled to Bunnera. When Starfy, Bunston, and Moe entered the Bunnera Castle, Starfy dueled with Mashtooth and won, until Mashtooth absorbed Bunston's power and transformed into [[Mashtooth#Second Form - Mega Mashtooth|Mega Mashtooth]]. Starfy and Moe got beaten up by Mega Mashtooth until the Terrible Trio came and helped Starfy. Many of Starfy's friends cheered Starfy on, which gave him the strength to face Mega Mashtooth. Starfy pushed the Bunnera [[The Moon|moon]] at Mega Mashtooth, which defeated him, gave the Bunnerans their powers back, and made Bunnera back in peace.

Starfy is a nice and friendly character who likes to solve other people's problems. Starfy smiles almost all of the time, and this may portray him as a content and relaxed person. Although Starfy shows negative emotions such as sadness and fear, these are shown often only for a short time. His best friend Moe gave him emotional support to stop crying in ''Densetsu no Starfy 2'' after his mother [[Mama Star]] was kidnapped by Ogura, and Moe tried to raise Starfy's spirits in his room when it was revealed that [[Mattel]]; Starfy's crush was engaged to [[Coral]]. In ''The Legendary Starfy'', Starfy may come over as childish in the way that he makes high pitched squeals when he is happy.

Starfy is apparently very forgetful in the way that he forgets most of his [[abilities]] for each game and has to relearn them. She forced Starfy and Moe into their third adventure by pushing them into the ocean while they resisted.

In ''The Legendary Starfy'', Starfy was eager to help [[Bunston]] from the start after he crashed through Starfy's room and ran away. Starfy went off the edge of Pufftop even though Moe grabbed Starfy and tried to stop him. Starfy may come across as eccentric in some cases. One day, Starfy was having a peaceful nap, then a strange bunny rabbit crashed through the roof and landed on Starfy. Starfy stared and tried to make the unexpected visitor talk, until [[The Terrible Trio|three shadowy goons]] crashed through the walls and tried to kidnap the bunny. Starfy became angry and used his [[Star Spin]] move on the goons, which made them run away. [[Moe]] entered Starfy's room and told him that the strange bunny figure jumped into the ocean, so Starfy and Moe went after him.

Once Starfy and Moe entered the ocean, they found the bunny, who was called Bunston. He had amnesia and the only way to gain his memory back was by finding [[Shard|shards]]. Starfy, Moe, and Bunston (sometimes Starly too) had to travel to [[Gluglug Lagoon]] and many other places to find every shards. Along the way, the shadowy goons, which was revealed to be a team of [[Snips]], [[Ronk]], and [[Papes]], tried to kidnap Bunston and stop Starfy and Moe from getting all of the shards.

Bunston's memory returned and remembered that he was a prince and his planet [[Planet Bunnera|Bunnera]] was in danger by the evil [[Mashtooth]], so he used the shards to fix his rocket ship and he, Starfy, and Moe traveled to Bunnera. When Starfy, Bunston, and Moe entered the Bunnera Castle, Starfy dueled with Mashtooth and won, until Mashtooth absorbed Bunston's power and transformed into [[Mashtooth#Second Form - Mega Mashtooth|Mega Mashtooth]]. Starfy and Moe got beaten up by Mega Mashtooth until the Terrible Trio came and helped Starfy. Many of Starfy's friends cheered Starfy on, which gave him the strength to face Mega Mashtooth. Starfy pushed the Bunnera [[The Moon|moon]] at Mega Mashtooth, which defeated him, gave the Bunnerans their powers back, and made Bunnera back in peace.

Starfy is a nice and friendly character who likes to solve other people's problems. Starfy smiles almost all of the time, and this may portray him as a content and relaxed person. Although Starfy shows negative emotions such as sadness and fear, these are shown often only for a short time. His best friend Moe gave him emotional support to stop crying in ''Densetsu no Starfy 2'' after his mother [[Mama Star]] was kidnapped by Ogura, and Moe tried to raise Starfy's spirits in his room when it was revealed that [[Mattel]]; Starfy's crush was engaged to [[Coral]]. In ''The Legendary Starfy'', Starfy may come over as childish in the way that he makes high pitched squeals when he is happy.

Starfy is apparently very forgetful in the way that he forgets most of his [[abilities]] for each game and has to relearn them. Starfy is also very lazy, even though according to his ''Super Smash Bros. Brawl'' [[smashwiki:trophy|trophy]] he tries his hardest when he sets his mind to something. Brawl'', Starfy is sometimes spineless, and this may be supported by how Starfy ran around freaked out and hid inside of Moe's shell when debris started to fall during the opening of ''Densetsu no Starfy 2'', after Ogura had escaped from the jar with the help of the [[Puchi Ogura]]. Though Starfy likes adventure, he acted against starting an adventure in ''Densetsu no Starfy 3''. In the beginning of ''Densetsu no Starfy 3'', Starly was the first one to take action and do something about the problem surrounding how the jar was destroyed and the fact that Ogura's personage ([[Evil]]) was around. She forced Starfy and Moe into their third adventure by pushing them into the ocean while they resisted.

In ''The Legendary Starfy'', Starfy was eager to help [[Bunston]] from the start after he crashed through Starfy's room and ran away. Starfy went off the edge of Pufftop even though Moe grabbed Starfy and tried to stop him. Starfy's hobbies include collecting [[sunglasses]], and according to [[℃-ute]]'s version of the series' Title Song, making pretend transformations (either referring to wearing [[Stuff]]; as the video shows Starfy wearing Stuff after this line, or the transformations/vehicles Starfy uses in the game. Starfy may come across as eccentric in some cases. In [[DSR01|chapter one of the ''Densetsu no Starfy R'' manga]] ("Starfy's Love Attack"), Starfy wore spiral glasses, a "hissho" [[wikipedia:hachimaki|hachimaki]] headband and a thick tattered suit in Pufftop Palace after he developed a crush on Mattel. Starfy became angry and used his [[Star Spin]] move on the goons, which made them run away. [[Moe]] entered Starfy's room and told him that the strange bunny figure jumped into the ocean, so Starfy and Moe went after him.

Once Starfy and Moe entered the ocean, they found the bunny, who was called Bunston. He had amnesia and the only way to gain his memory back was by finding [[Shard|shards]]. Starfy, Moe, and Bunston (sometimes Starly too) had to travel to [[Gluglug Lagoon]] and many other places to find every shards. Along the way, the shadowy goons, which was revealed to be a team of [[Snips]], [[Ronk]], and [[Papes]], tried to kidnap Bunston and stop Starfy and Moe from getting all of the shards.

Bunston's memory returned and remembered that he was a prince and his planet [[Planet Bunnera|Bunnera]] was in danger by the evil [[Mashtooth]], so he used the shards to fix his rocket ship and he, Starfy, and Moe traveled to Bunnera. When Starfy, Bunston, and Moe entered the Bunnera Castle, Starfy dueled with Mashtooth and won, until Mashtooth absorbed Bunston's power and transformed into [[Mashtooth#Second Form - Mega Mashtooth|Mega Mashtooth]]. Starfy and Moe got beaten up by Mega Mashtooth until the Terrible Trio came and helped Starfy. Many of Starfy's friends cheered Starfy on, which gave him the strength to face Mega Mashtooth. Starfy pushed the Bunnera [[The Moon|moon]] at Mega Mashtooth, which defeated him, gave the Bunnerans their powers back, and made Bunnera back in peace.

In ''The Legendary Starfy'', players can join one another, one of them playing as Starly. Starly has special moves players playing as Starfy cannot learn or use, such as jumping off of walls. She appears smaller (in-game) than Starfy, and is always seen wearing her pink bow. To access playing as Starly, Moe will ask Starfy if he wants Starly to join them. Players can also choose to "be" Starly via the select button to change the character shown in the [[Stuff]] menu, though this will not change the actual character in game.

Starly is featured in a [[minigames|mini-game]] called "[[Dumpling Master]]". She and the player make dumplings to give to Starfy, who then feeds them to Moe. She also makes 2 small appearances in other mini-games. One is after the results are shown for "Coin Slinger". Starly can be seen in the audience of stars. Another is in [[Fishing Derby]]. She puts bait in the water and Moe comes. Starly will be the only pink one wearing her signature bow!

Later in ''[[Densetsu no Starfy 3]]'', Moe met up with his father, [[Kyorozou]] on various occasions. Tragically, in [[Old Castle]]'s [[Area]] 3, Kyorozou sacrificed his life for Moe when Moe was hit by a lightning attack by Evil, after Kyorozou went in Moe's place and pushed him away to try and endure the attack.

Either [[Fork]] or [[Fork's brother|his brother]] is seen swimming away, so Starfy follows him until he gets to a room where Fork is picking on Moe with his brother. After Starfy defeats them, Moe reveals that "his dearest" [[Ruby]] was kidnapped by a bad guy known as [[Konk]]. It was then Fork and his brother chased after him. Starfy and Moe later become good friends, and Moe joins Starfy on his quest back to Pufftop, offering advice. After destroying the [[Dentalium Shell]] and the [[Kettle]] that were blocking the water in Coral Reef from flowing, Starfy finds and defeats Konk. Ruby returns and Moe is much happy to see her again. Starfy and Moe advance to [[Stranded Whale]] and Moe continues to tag along with Starfy and offer him advice until the end of their journey, after which Moe stays with Starfy in [[Pufftop|Pufftop Palace]].

Ogura leads Starfy to the edge of Pufftop Palace and Ogura floats down towards the ocean. Starfy cries and runs off to rescue Mama Star. Moe clings on to Starfy, telling him that it would take much effort for him to return to Pufftop. Starfy resists, so Starfy and Moe both fall off the edge of Pufftop on to a beach. Moe moans at Starfy, who is tearful and Starfy begins to cry, which Moe finds annoying. Starfy eventually stops crying. Moe asks Starfy to follow him and reassures him that he can get help from [[Old Man Lobber]] when he is troubled.

He tells Moe and Starfy that they must pursue Ogura and defeat him somehow. Moe becomes angry and calls Papa Star an idiot. He notes that the jar has already been smashed into pieces, and believes on all accounts their adventure isn't going to be beneficial. Papa Star becomes angry with Moe and asks "what are you talking about?", arguing that the peace of Pufftop is at stake.

Later, [[Starly]] appears. She jumps around Pufftop Palace and bounces off Moe. She asks why Starfy and others are "wasting time", which angers Moe. Starly pushes both Starfy and Moe off of the edge of Pufftop towards the ocean while they resist. Starly successfully pushes them off of the edge and then jumps off with them. As in ''Densetsu no Starfy'' and ''Densetsu no Starfy 2'', this time accompanied with both Starly and Moe, Starfy arrives at Lobber's Cave.

Moe says they should go and hear what the [[Old Man Lobber]] has to say first. As before, Starfy, Starly and Moe jump off Pufftop Palace into the ocean but this time they meet Old Man Lobber in [[Lobber's Villa|his villa]] in the Amiy Kingdom, although they land straight into his bonsai tree, ruining it, so they have to find a [[Repair Kit]] to fix it first.

Moe still tags along with Starfy and Starly, however, most of the time they have to speak to him via a [[Public Telephone]] and all of the Public Telephones with the exception of two in the final Area only appear before beating the game.

After beating Degil for the first time, after Starfy sees Mattel hugging [[Coral|Prince Coral]] and finds out that Mattel is his fiancee, he becomes depressed and stays in his room sad and lonely in Pufftop Palace, so Moe tries to cheer him up but fails. When Starfy, Starly and Moe obtain all 36 [[Answers Card]]s and truly defeats Degil, Starfy, Starly and Moe stand on a hill watching over the [[Amiy Castle]]. Treasure hunting is a hobby of Moe's. In ''[[The Legendary Starfy]]'', instead of helping [[Starfy]] chase the kidnapped [[Bunston]], he focuses on finding treasure. When Starfy is around treasure, Moe's eyes will glitter with pictures of the nearby find if the player has [[Moe's Sniffer]] turned on. This feature can be selected by tapping the small Moe at the bottom of the screen.

Moe also loves to eat fine foods. He apparently likes dumplings, as in ''The Legendary Starfy'', there is a mini-game game called [[Dumpling Master]], where Starly and Starfy create dumplings for Moe to eat. The player and Starly create the dumplings, and Starly gives them to Starfy to pass on to Moe. If Moe does not receive a decent amount, he will become furious and his top shell will bounce up and down. Moe will, at the end of the mini-game, tell the player how many dumplings they made. The official [[wikipedia:United States|United States]] website for ''The Legendary Starfy'' says he enjoys urchin nachos. This is confirmed in-game when Moe tells Bunston that one of his and Starfy's specialties are urchin nachos.

In ''The Legendary Starfy'', Moe has his own talk show, which he calls "''[[The Moe Show]]''". Random guests will appear, and the character and Moe will have a small conversation. Sometimes, Starfy will appear on the show; other times, supporting characters and even bosses, such as [[The Hot Spring Snapper|the Hot Spring Snapper]] from [[Hotcha Springs]] appear.

Moe also has a crush on another Starfy character, [[Ruby]]; a [[wikipedia:dendrochirus zebra|zebra turkeyfish]]. Whenever Moe is around Ruby, he becomes quiet, calm, and nicer than usual. It should be noted that in ''The Legendary Starfy'' (in one of the earlier levels) that Moe's [[Moe's Family|three younger siblings]] tells Starfy that Moe has a crush on someone. Later, they tell Starfy that the someone is, in fact, Ruby. Moe is also openly flirtatious towards [[Savako]] in ways that may be considered rude.

Moe has had a number of fears in the games. In ''Densetsu no Starfy'', he was afraid of [[Dolfy]], a dolphin. In ''Densetsu no Starfy 3'', he was afraid of [[Mantahan]], a manta.

Being a clam, Moe's shell gives him protection. Despite this, he still complains about heat and cold. Despite having no legs he can still move easily. Also he can leap into the air.

Moe can also dig into the ground and pop out of the ground quickly. He usually only does this to hide.

Moe can also survive great falls as in most of the games he along with Starfy usually plummet out of [[Pufftop]] into the ocean (with the exception of ''[[Densetsu no Starfy]]'' where Starfy first met him only after starting his journey).

Moe apparently has enough room in his shell to hold Starfy or Bunston while closing it but somehow they make impressions from the inside.

In ''[[Densetsu no Starfy 4]]'', Starfy can use an ability to team up with something that looks like Moe to perform the [[Spill]] [[Abilities|ability]] [[Powerful Spin]], during which Starfy grabs him from the back and spins while holding him. They move very quickly and start suffering from [[dizziness]] after the ability is finished. The real Moe likely is not involved since Starfy can use this ability when Moe runs away in [[Degil's Castle]].

Beside the Powerful Spin, Moe has no physical attacks. He usually simply stands on the sidelines of Starfy and [[Starly]]'s adventures and offers them advice. In ''The Legendary Starfy'', he looks for treasure and helps Starfy find it via Moe's Sniffer.

Later in ''[[Densetsu no Starfy 3]]'', Moe met up with his father, [[Kyorozou]] on various occasions. Starfy first meets Moe in [[Coral Reef]]. Before meeting Moe, [[Herman]] reveals that his friend Moe is being chased by bad guys, so Herman wants Starfy to help him. Either [[Fork]] or [[Fork's brother|his brother]] is seen swimming away, so Starfy follows him until he gets to a room where Fork is picking on Moe with his brother. After Starfy defeats them, Moe reveals that "his dearest" [[Ruby]] was kidnapped by a bad guy known as [[Konk]]. It was then Fork and his brother chased after him. Starfy and Moe later become good friends, and Moe joins Starfy on his quest back to Pufftop, offering advice. After destroying the [[Dentalium Shell]] and the [[Kettle]] that were blocking the water in Coral Reef from flowing, Starfy finds and defeats Konk. Ruby returns and Moe is much happy to see her again. Starfy and Moe advance to [[Stranded Whale]] and Moe continues to tag along with Starfy and offer him advice until the end of their journey, after which Moe stays with Starfy in [[Pufftop|Pufftop Palace]].

In the second staff credits, it is revealed that Moe lives in a rundown house with his three [[Moe's Family|siblings]], and they are all crying because they wanted some meat, a teddy bear, and a [[Game Boy Advance]]. However, Moe couldn't get them those things since they didn't had the money, and what he said caused them to cry again. Moe then tried to figure out where he can get some money, but before he thought of something he saw [[Ruby]] and followed her instead which led to meeting and becoming great friends with Starfy. Later after Starfy defeated Ogura once and for all with Moe sealing Ogura back inside the [[jar]], Moe was rewarded with [[treasure]] for helping Starfy. Ogura leads Starfy to the edge of Pufftop Palace and Ogura floats down towards the ocean. Starfy cries and runs off to rescue Mama Star. Moe clings on to Starfy, telling him that it would take much effort for him to return to Pufftop. Starfy resists, so Starfy and Moe both fall off the edge of Pufftop on to a beach. Moe moans at Starfy, who is tearful and Starfy begins to cry, which Moe finds annoying. Starfy eventually stops crying. Moe asks Starfy to follow him and reassures him that he can get help from [[Old Man Lobber]] when he is troubled.

As in ''Densetsu no Starfy'', Moe tags along with Starfy throughout his adventure, offering him advice and interacting with other [[characters]]. He tells Moe and Starfy that they must pursue Ogura and defeat him somehow. Moe becomes angry and calls Papa Star an idiot. Papa Star becomes angry with Moe and asks "what are you talking about?", arguing that the peace of Pufftop is at stake.

Later, [[Starly]] appears. She jumps around Pufftop Palace and bounces off Moe. She asks why Starfy and others are "wasting time", which angers Moe. Starly pushes both Starfy and Moe off of the edge of Pufftop towards the ocean while they resist. Starly successfully pushes them off of the edge and then jumps off with them. As in ''Densetsu no Starfy'' and ''Densetsu no Starfy 2'', this time accompanied with both Starly and Moe, Starfy arrives at Lobber's Cave.

At the beginning of the game, Moe is hesitant as usual to go on another adventure after [[Mattel]] informs Starfy, Moe and their associates of the [[Amiy Kingdom]]'s crisis but when Starly starts to talk about Ruby, Moe reconsiders and is excited to see her in the Amiy Kingdom. Moe says they should go and hear what the [[Old Man Lobber]] has to say first. As before, Starfy, Starly and Moe jump off Pufftop Palace into the ocean but this time they meet Old Man Lobber in [[Lobber's Villa|his villa]] in the Amiy Kingdom, although they land straight into his bonsai tree, ruining it, so they have to find a [[Repair Kit]] to fix it first.

Moe still tags along with Starfy and Starly, however, most of the time they have to speak to him via a [[Public Telephone]] and all of the Public Telephones with the exception of two in the final Area only appear before beating the game.

Moe's House returns in ''Densetsu no Starfy 4'', and can be accessed in [[Cupid Village]] after exposing [[Akureima]]'s disguise of Ruby and then rescuing the real Ruby. It can then be accessed from any [[Map (Areas)#Densetsu no Starfy 4|City]] or from the Stage Select either by touching its icon or via the R button.

In [[Degil's Castle]], Starfy must extinguish the [[Heart of Conflict|Hearts of Conflict]] for [[Arasoinomon]]. Mattel teaches Starfy the [[Powerful Spin]] [[Spill]] [[Abilities|ability]]; an ability that can do this, and comments that Starfy is the first to learn it because he and Moe are great friends, but Moe ran away after falling into conflict with Starfy, so Starfy has to retrieve him.

After beating Degil for the first time, after Starfy sees Mattel hugging [[Coral|Prince Coral]] and finds out that Mattel is his fiancee, he becomes depressed and stays in his room sad and lonely in Pufftop Palace, so Moe tries to cheer him up but fails. When Starfy, Starly and Moe obtain all 36 [[Answers Card]]s and truly defeats Degil, Starfy, Starly and Moe stand on a hill watching over the [[Amiy Castle]]. He and the others attend Coral and Mattel's wedding afterwards and Mattel thanks everyone, in particular Starfy for his help in saving the Amiy Kingdom.

Treasure hunting is a hobby of Moe's. In ''[[The Legendary Starfy]]'', instead of helping [[Starfy]] chase the kidnapped [[Bunston]], he focuses on finding treasure. When Starfy is around treasure, Moe's eyes will glitter with pictures of the nearby find if the player has [[Moe's Sniffer]] turned on. This feature can be selected by tapping the small Moe at the bottom of the screen.

Moe also loves to eat fine foods. He apparently likes dumplings, as in ''The Legendary Starfy'', there is a mini-game game called [[Dumpling Master]], where Starly and Starfy create dumplings for Moe to eat. The player and Starly create the dumplings, and Starly gives them to Starfy to pass on to Moe. If Moe does not receive a decent amount, he will become furious and his top shell will bounce up and down. Moe will, at the end of the mini-game, tell the player how many dumplings they made. The official [[wikipedia:United States|United States]] website for ''The Legendary Starfy'' says he enjoys urchin nachos. This is confirmed in-game when Moe tells Bunston that one of his and Starfy's specialties are urchin nachos.

In ''The Legendary Starfy'', Moe has his own talk show, which he calls "''[[The Moe Show]]''". Random guests will appear, and the character and Moe will have a small conversation. Sometimes, Starfy will appear on the show; other times, supporting characters and even bosses, such as [[The Hot Spring Snapper|the Hot Spring Snapper]] from [[Hotcha Springs]] appear.

Moe also has a crush on another Starfy character, [[Ruby]]; a [[wikipedia:dendrochirus zebra|zebra turkeyfish]]. Whenever Moe is around Ruby, he becomes quiet, calm, and nicer than usual. Being a clam, Moe's shell gives him protection. Despite this, he still complains about heat and cold. Despite having no legs he can still move easily. Also he can leap into the air.

Moe can also dig into the ground and pop out of the ground quickly. He usually only does this to hide.

Moe can also survive great falls as in most of the games he along with Starfy usually plummet out of [[Pufftop]] into the ocean (with the exception of ''[[Densetsu no Starfy]]'' where Starfy first met him only after starting his journey).

Moe apparently has enough room in his shell to hold Starfy or Bunston while closing it but somehow they make impressions from the inside.

In ''[[Densetsu no Starfy 4]]'', Starfy can use an ability to team up with something that looks like Moe to perform the [[Spill]] [[Abilities|ability]] [[Powerful Spin]], during which Starfy grabs him from the back and spins while holding him. They move very quickly and start suffering from [[dizziness]] after the ability is finished. The real Moe likely is not involved since Starfy can use this ability when Moe runs away in [[Degil's Castle]].

Beside the Powerful Spin, Moe has no physical attacks. He usually simply stands on the sidelines of Starfy and [[Starly]]'s adventures and offers them advice. In ''The Legendary Starfy'', he looks for treasure and helps Starfy find it via Moe's Sniffer.

After falling out of Pufftop again Starfy and Moe go to Old Man Lobber's house. They ask him for advice on how to rescue [[Mama Star]], who had been kidnapped by Ogura as payback for Starfy sealing him in the Jar several years ago during the events of Starfy 1. Old Man Lobber had already received word of the situation, but tells the duo to not be hasty as Starfy would stand no chance as he is. Old Man Lobber then puts up signs so Starfy can remember his basic Abilities and waits for Starfy further into the cave. When Starfy meets up with Lobber, he shows Starfy a treasure chest which holds one of Pufftop’s [[Stuff]] inside, believing that it may be a memento Starfy can follow to find his mother.

During the events of World 11, [[Ogura Castle|Ogura’s Castle]], Starfy and Moe eventually get caught in a poison gas trap that render them unconscious. A mysterious figure (Lobber) then saves them from the trap, and explains in an anonymous note that they need to hit blocks to match the shape as the block over the room’s respective exit. The mysterious figure continues to leave anonymous notes throughout the remaning stages until 11-6. Starfy challenges Ogura, but cannot damage him. Ogura then end the battle handily, leaving Starfy hurt and defenseless. Moe tries to protect Starfy, but to no avail. Before Ogura can finish the duo off, Lobber saves them. He tells Ogura to either put an end to his evil ways, or he’ll seal him in the Jar again. Ogura thinks of a younger Papa Star and Lobber, is angered by it and fights Lobber. In his old age, Lobber defeat him, but significantly weakened Ogura, who flees further into the castle. Lobber gives the duo the Jar and sends them off to fight and defeat Ogura.

During the events of the post game, Lobber informs Starfy of other things he can collect besides Treasures. Those items being Sheet Music and Stuff he has yet to find (which can be found in the main game. Ex. The Sheet Music for the Opening Theme is in 1-1)

Lobber, initially shocked by the idea that there’s a villain stronger than Ogura, tells Starfy to read signs and remember his Abilities as usual. When Starfy meets with Lobber again, Lobber tells him that in spite of not having the Jar, that by meeting with allies and becoming stronger on his adventure, he will find a solution. When Starly asks where it is, Lobber holds up a rose that he says houses a [[Lovewizumi|fairy]] that could warp them directly to the second world. (stage)|???]]), Starfy will be able to fight Old Man Lobber as a hidden, optional boss in Stage 10-7, known as Master Lobber (Japanese: マスター • ロブ) in this particular case. He is fought underwater and challenges Starfy, as a test to see how much he has progressed in his adventure, and how much he is worthy of his title of prince of Pufftop. Master Lobber will initially attack by holding up an energy shield around him and then charging at Starfy. If he dashes into the middle of the room, he will shoot Starfy with bullets.

When Master Lobber has one or two health points remaining, he will turn gold and use his "Clakkity" move, which involves charging at Starfy and crushing him. Old Man Lobber is invincible while he is gold, though he will eventually wear himself out, stop charging at Starfy, lose his golden hue and become vulnerable again. If Old Man Lobber touches Starfy while he is gold, Starfy will instantly lose all of his health points and receive a Game Over. This attack is very difficult to avoid compared to the attacks of other bosses fought prior to the main game's completion. To dodge this move, Starfy will have to perform a [[Turbo Swim]] in the right direction, for example by performing a Turbo Swim towards the top or bottom of the area when he is initially heading left or right and making Master Lobber charge off of the screen.
