The Propeller Bit (プロペラビット) is an ability in Densetsu no Starfy 4. It is the second Vehicle in the game. When using it, Starfy or Starly are carried by a rabbit with propeller ears that wears a crown.

Controls
The Propeller Bit moves very fast, but not on its own. Use the control pad to move in any direction. Press the B button to shoot carrot missiles.

Name Origin
The Propeller Bit's name is a combination of "propeller" (プロペラ), and "rabbit" (ラビット). In English, this combination of words would look more like Propellerabbit or Propellabbit.

Trivia
*This ability, along with Monstar, are the only transformation type abilities that are used to fight a boss at some point.
*The rabbit in this ability is similar to Cream who is from the Sonic the Hedgehog series: they both are rabbits that fly using their ears.
*Propeller Bit's internal name is "Rabit Kawa".
Bunston (Rampa in Japan) is a character who first appeared in The Legendary Starfy. He is a blue rabbit-like creature who wears a red spacesuit with a green helmet, orange jet pack, red eyes and is a prince like Starfy. He first meets Starfy after having fallen through his roof from Planet Bunnera, his homeland, which was attacked by the Space Pirate Mashtooth.

Bunston's Powers
Although Bunston cannot be controlled alone, in certain rooms in the game, he appears with a thought bubble above his head. Inside the thought bubble is a small image of a monster (called "Monstar"), seal (called "Starpedo"), ghost (called "Starfright"), or rooster (called "Roostar"). These powers are remembered by Bunston through progression in the story as Starfy and others collect the Shards to Bunston's ship. Player can keep track of Bunston's remembered powers via the Bunston's Collection menu. If Starfy touches the thought bubble, he morphs with Bunston to gain the ability pictured. If Bunston has not remembered the power, the ability will not be pictured and the player will not be able to use it. These abilities are all unique: Monstar's ability allows Starfy to breathe fire (Spicy Belly); Starpedo's ability freezes, then breaks Deep Ice in arctic regions using a giant icicle (Icy Spike), making them passable; Roostar's ability provides Starfy to be able to make loud Bugawks that can also be used to use Liftwisps and make Stanglers and Lurchins not damaging anymore, making them as temporary platforms, and lay chicken eggs (Bugawk); Starfright's ability lets Starfy drop "will-o-wisp"s (ghostly fires) around foes, make him disappear for a while, and make him float around (Vanish).

Upgrades
In the last Secret levels of certain Stages, there will be extra Transforming Stones for the forms, making them more powerful. The power will be later used in that level to highlight its additional features. The upgraded Powers are needed for collecting certain Treasures.

*Super Spicy Belly: The flames are now bigger. (Found in Hotcha Springs)

*Super Icy Spike: The spike is now larger and can be used to go against the fastest currents. (Found in Sogwood Forest)

*Super Bugawk: Starfy will flap his wings for a short time if the B button is held in the middle of the air. Additionally, the eggs surrounding Bugawk have hatched into two small chicks. (Found in S.S. Logwater)

*Super Vanish: Starfy will disappear for a longer period of time. (Found in Planet Bunnera)

clr

Trivia
*Bunston may have a voice high-pitched and similar to Starfy, based on the voice that plays after three Heart Gems have been acquired in a set.
*The carrot-like object on Bunston's suit is actually his tail.
Some of them tell the player to turn off the power, others tell the player that data will be deleted.

A Communication Error Screen (Japanese: つうしんエラー画面) can appear during multiplayer Minigames if the Game Link Cable has fallen out. It tells the player to turn off the power and try again.
clr
In Densetsu no Starfy 4
Densetsu no Starfy 4 has at least four error screens. Both messages use a border that is patterned with Degil's head on the bottom left and bottom right corners, like in cutscenes related to Degil in the game. The top screen is used for the message, while the Touch Screen just becomes a blue screen, like the background surrounding the message on the top screen.

Data is corrupted
This screen presumably appears for corrupted save data. It can appear if the wrong save type is used for an emulator. The message informs the player about the corrupted data, tells them that data has disappeared, and tells the player to press the A button. This message may appear twice.
clrr

Failed to read data
If the save data cannot be read, a message telling the player this will appear before the Nintendo logo. The message also tells the player to turn the power off and re-insert the Game Card.
clrr
If the Game Card is removed during gameplay, a message will appear telling the player to turn off the power. If the cartridge is removed during Sleep Mode on a Nintendo DS or Nintendo DS Lite model, then the power for the system will go off, unless the player quickly inserts it back in again, which causes the Sleep Mode glitch. The Sleep Mode glitch does not occur on the Nintendo 3DS.
clrr
This message presumably appears when Suspend Save data is corrupted. It tells the player to press the A button, and that the Suspend Save data has been deleted. It can appear when using the wrong save type on an emulator.
If upon starting the game one of the save files is corrupted, the game will indicate which file is corrupted, delete the corrupted data and tell the player to press A. Pressing A will let the player continue to the File 2 error screen (if File 2 is also corrupted) or the Title Screen. This message can be replicated by using an emulator with the wrong save type.
Like in Densetsu no Starfy 4, a message will appear before the Nintendo logo if the save data could not be accessed, telling the player this problem and asking them to turn the power off and re-insert the Game Card.
Like in Densetsu no Starfy 4, if the Game Card is removed during gameplay, a message will appear telling the player to turn off the power. There is no special border, however. Ejecting the Game Card in Sleep Mode works the same way as in Densetsu no Starfy 4.
clrr

Interrupted communication messages
If communication finishes early during Team Play, the same message appears as if one of the players beat a boss or cleared a room, without the first sentence "Thanks for playing!", i.e. for the host: "The connection has ended. Press A to return to the stage." and for a player who has linked via DS Download Play, "The connection has ended. Press A to turn the power off.".

Likewise, if communication finishes early during a Minigame or on one of the Minigames screens, for the host, the same message appears for choosing to return back to the initial Minigames screen, without "thanks for playing!" (i.e "The connection has ended. Press A to return to the minigame-selection screen.") but for a player who has linked via DS Download Play, the message is the same whether the host returned to the initial Minigames screen or the connection ended early — "The connection has ended. Press A to turn the power off.".
