Masao Kusakabe worked on the 'Character Design' for Densetsu no Starfy. He does not appear to be credited in later games in The Legendary Starfy series, where Koutarou Shinoki was credited as the main designer for the second to fourth games and as the character designer for The Legendary Starfy. According to the Canadian Intellectual Property Database, Masao Kusakabe owns part of the copyright to Kirby's Block Ball.
