The unnamed spike enemy appeared in the cancelled Game Boy Color version of Densetsu no Starfy. They were replaced by the non-sentient spike trap objects in the final game. The design of this enemy is also found on Spike Trap (Super Mario series), Sea Urchin (The Legend of Zelda series), and Gordo (Kirby series).
