In ''Densetsu no Starfy 2'', the cursor is a pink dolphin, while in ''Densetsu no Starfy 3'', the cursor is a blue fish.

	In ''[[Densetsu no Starfy 4]]'', the [[Abilities List]] and the Vehicles List were merged into the [[Abilities & Vehicles]] menu, which also lists [[Spill]] abilities. In ''[[Densetsu no Starfy]]'', a list of unlocked vehicles is stored on the Pause screen but the player cannot interact with the list. The Vehicles List does not exist in ''[[The Legendary Starfy]]'' as there are no unlockable vehicles in that game.

	When the player selects a vehicle from the Vehicles List, the game brings up an animation of the vehicle in action with a description and the relevant buttons used like if the player used a [[Signboard]]. In ''Densetsu no Starfy 3'', the animation can be slowed down with the L or R buttons.
