Shooting Star is one of Starfy's most powerful moves that he can learn.
In The Legendary Starfy, the player must do an Air Jump, then press Down & Y. This move will charge through until it reaches an enemy or land, but if it takes a little time in water, it will stop. However, in Densetsu no Starfy 3, if the player goes to a high enough height and use Shooting Star then without hitting anything in its path for a second, it will speed up and become more powerful allowing Starfy to destroy large blocks, pierce through enemies, and even go through water to the bottom without interruption even through strong water currents.
