The Mermaid, is a character who aids Starfy throughout his adventures. She has appeared in every game in the Starfy series so far. In the games she allows the player to save their progress and heal all of the player's health. Mermaid is seen throughout various levels at different points, and is identified by her signature purple shell. She appears very nice, and is a good friend to the Starfy characters.

In the Game
Mermaid can sometimes be seen if the player chooses to have Mermaid Gossip on their Nintendo DS's bottom screen. She will give Starfy (the player) tips and advice on the tasks at hand. She tries to encourage Starfy (and the player) to do their best and to always help out when possible.
