It was given by the Wiki, yes. We currently have nothing to prove whether "Gooey Ice" is the official title or not. Zaben73 (Talk) gave the name "Gooey Ice" when creating the article. As far as I know, it's a conjectural/guessed title and probably isn't the official title so I added a template to illustrate this like the one on Mario Wiki. --Torchickens 10:30, 20 December 2011 (EST)

Now outdated. The description for the original Icy Spike on the Abilities screen refers to it as Deep Ice. --Torchickens (talk) 22:56, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
