A couple things

  1. Do you mind if I add an "Affiliates" section to the sidebar, but not include the NIWA Wikis we are directly affiliated with? (Maybe we should just add all the NIWA Wikis to our Affiliates page like WiKirby anyway...)
  2. Your talkpage is 37 kilobytes long, perhaps it is time for an Archive... (TFB, Star Light, BattleFranky, and Kage could probably use an archive as well o.o)

Also, I was going to mention those next time we were on Skype, but I decided to mention those here because I made a coding error > < --Starphoria (C·E) 19:31, 13 April 2012 (EDT)

To-Do List

Where is that to do list of all the disambiguation pages you want made? I can get them done soon :) --Starphoria (C·E) 16:24, 24 April 2012 (CDT)

Alright, thanks, I'll get them done ASAP. --Starphoria (C·E) 19:17, 25 April 2012 (CDT)

Check User

We've gotten the CheckUser extension - I suggest you contact Beast to give everyone the rights. :p --Starphoria (C·E) 12:11, 29 April 2012 (CDT)

Inactivity

I'll be inactive for a little bit, but I check up on the wiki every day to see if there is something that needs me. I won't be doing any editing though :/ Procrastination sucks :/ --Starphoria (C·E) 18:18, 4 May 2012 (CDT)

That exam is on my birthday... :p --Starphoria (C·E) 16:45, 10 May 2012 (CDT)

RE: Densetsu no Starfy 4 music

Eh, I'll probably update all the track names eventually, right now I'm taking screenshots of all the key items in the GBA games as well as their Japanese descriptions. Hmm that is interesting, I do have a skype now so I guess we can talk about it some more if you want.

That song should be on there, I was able to find it right away on youtube. Try searching "Starfy 4 World 7 Map" on the search bar on youtube, and it should be the top video there. I also don't mind if we install an extension to embed audio files. -Kagegamer12 00:20, 16 May 2012 (CDT)

Mine is "kage2347" and I will usually appear "away" or sometimes "invisible" when I'm online. And yeah probably xD. Kagegamer12 09:44, 20 May 2012 (CDT)

Squeak Squeak Panic

So basically you want me to put the two sprites into a gallery without them looking weird? Kagegamer12 09:44, 20 May 2012 (CDT)

Re:

Sorry for the absence, I'm not dead, lol. I've had a long, busy, and rough May, and haven't had time for the wiki. I'll be more active over the summer. Please give everyone my apologies, and if I am needed, email me and I will respond. I'll be back around the end of June. Sorry!! --Starphoria (C·E) 18:05, 28 May 2012 (CDT)

Re: Attack Powers

Sure, we can put them all into a list :D, either grouping them by stage or grouping them together by three central groups: enemies, obstacles, and bosses. And alright thanks! Kagegamer12 10:26, 29 May 2012 (CDT)

Do you mind if I make a table for obstacles in your list? And also where would Arumarji fit in that list since he is capable of causing damage as well. Kagegamer12 12:30, 29 May 2012 (CDT)
I suppose we could add Friends as a sub-title if you want, either way I have all the obstacles up there now. Kagegamer12 13:24, 29 May 2012 (CDT)
Well, other than the tornadoes that make you dizzy, the breakable blocks, and the other obstacles that don't cause damage to you, I say it is good for now on attack power! Kagegamer12 08:50, 5 June 2012 (CDT)

Thanks

Thanks! :D I'll do some wiki editing... eventually. E3 was disappointing. Pikmin 3 looks fun, and the 2 Mario games and NintendoLand, but kinda disappointing, I was expecting a Metroid. :/ --Starphoria (C·E) 20:44, 5 June 2012 (CDT)

Yeah. To be honest, I am not excited about the two new Mario games. Pikmin 3 looks interesting. NintendoLand is actually much better than it seems, as I've heard. An F-Zero attraction was announced, and it seems like a Yoshi and Balloon Fight attraction will be coming. Nintendo posted pictures of all the series icons that will be in NintendoLand, and there was a Yoshi Egg and a Balloon. Is P-100 being published by Nintendo? Game and Wario looks interesting. Rayman Legends looks fantastic. I don't like Scribblenauts all too much, because I always come up with boring words. The "core" games announced look fun. Though, I'm not interested in ZombiU or Batman.
Everyone is saying Ubisoft won E3, and I could agree with that. Sony and Microsoft also bombed.
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and Paper Mario: Sticker Star look fun. Nintendo shouldn't have announced those until this year, in my honest opinion though. I'm still anticipating Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance and Heroes of Ruin. I believe Nintendo gave other third-party titles the spotlight, but I cannot remember which. There is still the 3DS thing today, I think Animal Crossing will be showed off, and hopefully a couple new titles. Next year's E3 will be much better, I think. At least I get to keep my money this year, lol. I'll just ask for everything for Christmas (except for the Wii U) since I have a lot of relatives.
The titles for the Wii U I am excited for are... Pikmin 3 and Rayman Legends. I need more info on Game and Wario, NintendoLand, and P-100 before I consider those. Of course I'll get the New Mario Bros. U, but, it won't be a "must have". If Nintendo had simply announced a Metroid, a Star Fox, or a F-Zero, I would be content. However, they did not. Oh well. I'm expecting better from the 3DS conference today. Other than that, I get to keep my money. --Starphoria (C·E) 17:18, 6 June 2012 (CDT)
I remember Project Hammer. Project P-100 looks pretty sweet though. I hope it becomes a series for Nintendo. I've actually been pleased with Nintendo's effors lately. They are bringing us newer IPs and reviving older ones. I don't like the fact they are giving us all these Mario games though. Make a Metroid, a F-Zero, a Star Fox. I do want to see more new franchises from Nintendo though. You live in Europe, so it doesn't apply to you, but I hope they announce a Fire Emblem Awakening NA release. I can't wait to see more of Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, Paper Mario, and Animal Crossing as well as newer titles.
I'm sorry to hear about your financial troubles, I was in the same boat not too long ago. Both my Mom and Dad were out of a job. My Dad works for real estate and the person who managed it all died. He found old friends of his working in real estate, and made a deal with them. My Mom couldn't find and nursing work after being laid off. She's found work, but is still having trouble finding a good job. However, I have two older sisters who are really successful, and they give support to my dad. (My parents are divorced) Things have gotten better for us, though. I'm sorry to hear about your dad as well. I can understand because I've had an uncle close to us who died 2 1/2 years ago. I also had my step-grandmother die. We've been doing better much better now, though. --Starphoria (C·E) 19:02, 6 June 2012 (CDT)
By "classic", I mean Kid Icarus, Punch Out!!, Donkey Kong Country, the return to 2D Mario, Sin and Punishment, etc. Nintendo has been reviving more well-known games like that. A Balloon Fight and Ice Climber game would be nice. Ice Climber could be an amazing platformer. The word "Ice" is holding it back for me though. If they were to revive it, they would need to do a whole lot. Ice setting would get boring. Maybe just "Climber", but even if they kept the name "Ice Climber", and had ice themes, I'm sure Nintendo could do something.
Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon looks really cool. I like the whole multiple mansions idea, and I can't wait to see where the series goes from here. Paper Mario Sticker Star looks incredible, but are there partners? If not, then I will be massively upset. Partners rule. I enjoyed Super Paper Mario, but the first two games were superior to it. I really like how in Sticker Star, real life objects can be affect everything. I really want to hear something about Animal Crossing: Jump Out. Animal Crossing is probably my most played Nintendo franchise in hours total trying to collect everything. stupic golden axe... I hope you can get eaten by sharks when swimming. Kind of like the scorpions and tarantulas. I hope Nintendo does more unique things with it though. I'm still not exactly excited for the two new mario games. Mario Bros. 2 feels like a Wario game. Mario Bros. U looks more interesting, and if I ever play multiplayer, I would definitely use the GamePad and kill all my friends :P As for Fire Emblem... Yay! That's all.
The 3DS Conference and E3 in particular stunk. I'm not going to bother with Castlevania. Were there any other 3rd party titles shown that looked good aside from Epic Mickey and Scribblenauts? Aside from Kingdom Hearts and Heroes of Ruin? Oh well, like I said, I can keep my money. --Starphoria (C·E) 03:35, 9 June 2012 (CDT)

Also, is Beast going to give us the Checkuser rights? --Starphoria (C·E) 19:03, 10 June 2012 (CDT)
That's be cool, I'd still really like to see a new Ice Climber game. --Starphoria (C·E) 19:03, 18 June 2012 (CDT)
Did you hear? Sakarai is trying to bring back old characters to the next Smash brothers. This means that older characters may get the Pit route eventually and get their own game again! Also, Namco is working on it. I am a bit upset with the 3DS XL. I'm going to pass on it. --Starphoria (C·E) 16:08, 22 June 2012 (CDT)

Re:Welcome Back

Thanks for the warm welcome back Torchickens! Great to see thing here are okay! And yeah I got my computer problems sorted out... sadly at a 500$ cost... anyway I hope things havent changed much around here unless its for the better. :) -The Forgotten Beast 20:30, 26 July 2012 (CDT)

I'm alive

Sorry for the major lack of activity here on Starfy Wiki. I've been rather busy XP. I hope to get back to my online stuff at the end of September, because I'm quite busy right now. I'm also at a gaming convention (PAX Prime) in Seattle for the next week, and I've been busy planning this out and such. Anyways, just wanted to let you know I'm not dead :P --Starphoria (C·E) 13:20, 1 September 2012 (CDT)

Ok, this time I'm really back

Yeah... I've been gone for awhile, haven't I? Sorry about that. I've been busy with school stuff. I'll be back to regular editing soon, hopefully. --Starphoria (C·E) 15:12, 7 February 2013 (CST)

Yes, I did :P I mainly got a ton of plushies. I also got a Wii U, but I don't play it much. Nintendo Land can only entertain for so long. --Starphoria (C·E) 09:38, 9 February 2013 (CST)
Nintendo Land got boring after a few weeks. I haven't played New Super Mario Bros. U yet do to lack of time, but I'll get around to it. I've been mainly just playing old GBA games in my free time. The only Kirby game I played through recently is Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland. I'm currently replaying Pokemon Emerald. :P --Starphoria (C·E) 11:53, 10 February 2013 (CST)
I really liked Donkey Kong Crash Course. It was probably the only thing that kept me playing. I just started New Super Mario Bros. U today, it's really good. I probably won't play any further until I can get someone to play with. I haven't played Scribblenauts as of recently, Unlimited looks great, maybe I'll pick it up sometime. The Wii U hasn't really caught my attention as a whole though, I like playing handhelds better now :P. Maybe playing Wind Waker in HD will get me interested, haha. --Starphoria (C·E) 21:44, 11 February 2013 (CST)

Hi

Long time no talk. I still do weekly checkups on this wiki, and you're always so active. You recently hit 15,000 edits to this wiki, which is absolutely insane, haha. You keep this wiki alive :P --Starphoria (C·E) 04:37, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

Favicon

Is it just me or is the Favicon broken? --Starphoria (C·E) 06:18, 17 November 2013 (UTC)

I really owe you apologies!

I was supposed to add the other manga chapters a long time ago! Are you going to add synopsis for the other chapters now? If not, I can still do it and that is my plan for the weekend! Though if you'd rather do it now, I completely understand... Star Light (talk) 21:37, 26 November 2013 (UTC)

Thanks/Main Page

Thanks Torchickens. I know, I cropped the image so I can use it for the main page. xD Anyways, I may not stay for way too long, but I'll tweak some stuff a little while I'm here. ^^ Kagegamer12 (talk) 18:19, 31 December 2013 (UTC)

Should "Jams" in the Sea Jams category at the main page also be lowercased to match the consistency of the categories as well? Kagegamer12 (talk) 18:32, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
Alright, gotcha! Kagegamer12 (talk) 18:43, 31 December 2013 (UTC)

Sorry! Sorry!

Oh crud Torch, I just saw the message you left me on Toriko Wiki back on October! I'm so sorry for not replying to it sooner! Are you still doing the new skin thing? If so what kind of skin would you like? No bubbles? Beach with sky? Etc something? -The Forgotten Beast (talk) 06:41, 6 January 2014 (UTC)

I actually once tried to add a skyline to the skin but it didn't look so good what with the little artwork I was working with at the time... Anyway I'll see what I can do since now we have a bigger resource. -The Forgotten Beast (talk) 01:51, 7 January 2014 (UTC)

Template complete! Let me know if you need anything else. -The Forgotten Beast (talk) 16:12, 30 January 2014 (UTC)

Main Page

Sorry I'm late Torch and (somewhat late) Merry Christmas! What's the problem with the main page? Can you explain it to me in detail? -The Forgotten Beast (talk) 22:01, 26 December 2014 (UTC)

That's OK. Yes. When you are on the Main Page itself (not any other page, it seems), the font size for the sidebar text, the tabs at the top of the page (user page, discussion, edit...) and the user links ((username), my talk, my preferences(...)) is made smaller. Additionally, the Starfy Wiki logo is cut off (you can't see all of Starly or Moe). The problem occurred when I added a new module called "Template:SocialMedia" to Template:Main Page Here is a picture to demonstrate this better. [1] Torchickens (talk) 00:28, 27 December 2014 (UTC)
I finally fixed it! It turns out, all it needed was an added "". Let me know if there's anything else I can do Torch! Merry "late" Christmas and a Happy New Year! -The Forgotten Beast (talk) 04:09, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
OK, thank you very much Beast! Cool to hear that it wasn't hard for you to fix. Happy New Year! I wonder what 2015 will be like. Torchickens (talk) 13:22, 31 December 2014 (UTC)

Re: Welcome back

Yep, yep, no problem! Hope you had a nice Christmas as well! :) --Starphoria (C·E) 00:12, 5 January 2015 (UTC)

I also updated the main page a bit. I moved the 'Social Media' section over to the right column and archived some of the older updates in the 'News' section to even out the two columns and reduce the amount of scrolling on the main page. Hope it looks good. --Starphoria (C·E) 00:22, 5 January 2015 (UTC)

Favicon

Is it just me or is the Favicon not working? I am using Google Chrome; it might be a browser issue but I am not entirely sure. --Starphoria (C·E) 23:33, 21 January 2015 (UTC)

Awesome, I see it. Thanks. --Starphoria (C·E) 01:07, 25 January 2015 (UTC)

Account Creation Issues?

Hey Torchikens, a user named ToastUltimatum has been attempting to make a Starfy Wiki account for awhile now and has been experiencing issues that he is not experiencing at other NIWA wikis. It seems that the issue is exclusive to Starfy Wiki. I'll give you the direct quote from him so that you can look into the situation more (if there is a problem at all), just thought that I would let you know:

  • [10:03:34 AM] TaleOfTheToaster: Right, I've been trying to make an account on Starfy Wiki for the past few minutes, but the CAPTCHA question won't show up. And when I ignore it and hit Create account anyway, I just get a server error on IE and a blank screen on Firefox, so clearly the CAPTCHA is necessary despite it not showing up
  • [10:03:36 AM] TaleOfTheToaster: Does anyone else wanna try making an account?
  • [10:12:32 AM] TaleOfTheToaster: And yes, I have cookies enabled
  • [10:16:14 AM] TaleOfTheToaster: I also got the CAPTCHA to load on Golden Sun Universe, so I think there must just be a problem with Starfy Wiki"

--Starphoria (C·E) 19:25, 24 March 2015 (UTC)

It is a problem for me too. I'll add a page to the top notice for account creation requests, since I can create new accounts if I'm signed in. Torchickens (talk) 20:47, 24 March 2015 (UTC)

Re: Thank you

It's my pleasure. I have been working on and off on The Legendary Starfy in regards to speedrunning for years, and recently decided to get into the Japan only games. Very enjoyable series. I pretty much found those glitches while speedrunning the games, and I just found another graphical glitch while doing a run of the first game, which i just took the time to learn, (https://www.twitch.tv/diamond44444444/v/107860449). In regards to the correction for the enemy cards, I spent about 45 minutes looking for the Upon in 9-3 when I was getting 100% and I didn't want anybody else to fall victim to that. I saw your channel on youtube a few months ago (At least I think it's your channel) and saw the skip you found in 5-5 of Densetsu no Stafy 2 and other things. That skip in particular was pretty cool and saves approximately 40-60 seconds in a speedrun, but given that it's already over an hour into a 4+ hour run I really won't be doing it in an RTA. (I don't know exactly how to use this talk feature, so my apologies if i'm doing something wrong) -Diamond (talk) 04:50, 20 December 2016 (UTC)

Re: Curious. Guidebooks do have the occasional error in them, so I guess it is understandable. On the topic of the 5-5 skip and the original person who discovered it, I was going through that TASlog that you have in the description of that video and was looking at the video names for Stafy. A few ones really caught my eye, including the stafy3-stapy-doublejump (I'm implying that it applies to Stafi), the stafy3-rocket, the stafy2-cornerboost, and especially the stafy1_pearl_glitch. I would presume that you have accessed these files before since you found the 5-5 skip from it, so are you able to access these files and tell me what they are comprised of? I'm also curious what exactly is in the stafy2 parts of those files, since the game has not had much development in terms of speedrunning except for a really bad RTA that I did and an incomplete TAS that comprises only 3 levels. In regards to the stafy1_pearl_glitch, if it pertains to obtaining pearls fast I would really like to know about it, since grinding pearls in that game for a 100% speedrun would be extremely tedious and annoying, almost as much so as in The Legendary Starfy 100%, which requires ~30 goes through 9-7 to get enough pearls. Diamond (talk) 00:36, 22 December 2016 (UTC)Diamond

Re: Quotes Header

Uhhh I'm not sure if I'm doing this right lol.

Hello!

Cool, I'll get started on adding the headers. And thanks! Gotta keep this wiki alive somehow. :)

Enemy Genders

So, starting with Nubble, I've decided to "help" the wiki by adding the enemies' genders. I was wondering if this would fly with you, since i try to source my statments with the toys/trading cards/figurines. I hope you are OK with this. Derpyunikitty (talk) 03:16, 12 January 2018 (UTC)

Captcha

Hi the wiki always asks me for a captcha. However, I find it to be time consuming and sorta annoying. Is there another way to prevent bots from registering? I also had to try a captcha like 7 times before sending this message as well. Results May Vary (talk) 23:54, 3 November 2018 (UTC)

Ah hey thanks looks like that does work. The captchas may drive away potential legitimate editors though, so. Results May Vary (talk) 01:54, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
Also, i just realized that registration captchas in questy format is how the spambots did not register any longer in wikirby (whatever that might mean). Fukaba just told me, so. Results May Vary (talk) 01:56, 4 November 2018 (UTC)

Language barrier

The difficult thing about helping out on Starfy Wiki is the language barrier. Almost all the games are in Japanese, and i cant speak Japanese. Are you able to speak the language? Results May Vary (talk) 02:29, 4 November 2018 (UTC)

Do you not want the association because of bad memories? Community? Results May Vary (talk) 04:29, 4 November 2018 (UTC)

Hi!

Hey Torchickens! Sorry I didn't see this until now... I've been doing fine despite being usually busy with life. Do you like your current flat? This wiki pretty much covered a majority of the content from the Starfy series in all other aspects. It has been a long time since Starfy has had a new game, but at least Starfy returns in the new Smash. Mermaid also returned in the new Smash as a spirit. Also thanks for keeping maintenance for the wiki after all this time! What kind of RPG game have you been making? Did you also try out the recent remake of Kanto? --Kagegamer12 (talk) 04:13, 10 December 2018 (UTC)

At the very least, you will own a place that you can call your very own. ^^ it is nice that the Smash series made more than one reference to the Starfy series. The game could have only mentioned Starfy alone, but the game decided to add other Starfy series characters in there as well.
Sounds pretty deep, let me know of the progress you made with the game after awhile. Celeste kind of looked tough, but I might give it a look some day. Well you should join a group that shares your struggle if it will make you less lonely as a result. Most likely those people would share that discrimination as well, and there is more strength united than if tackled alone.
I can agree to that. It is much better if projects can be done at your own pace than doing them on either a deadline or in a bad time. :D
I also picked the Eevee version! While I do prefer battling over the Pokemon Go catch mechanics, I like having Pokemon show up visibly. I can pick and choose who I want to catch without having to deal with random encounters all the time. The arrangement does sound pretty nice despite not being able to use a bike in that game.
Well I've tried out some of the recent Nintendo games like Super Mario Odyssey, Kirby Star Allies, Breath of the Wild, Mega Man 11, and Pokemon Ultra Moon. Have you heard of Undertale? The game seems most similar to Earthbound, but it is pretty unique on its own. The characters are all great and memorable, and the story changes based on how you deal with enemies and bosses. You can even potentially beat the game without killing anyone. --Kagegamer12 (talk) 21:35, 31 December 2018 (UTC)
Yeah! Smash Bros has really done a good job showing off obscure Nintendo games and characters in general. My favorite obscure series personally is Chibi Robo.
It is your game, so convey your message how you want it to be seen by others. I played a bit of VVVVVVV, it was alright. I also tried out Gunman Clive and Cave Story for the 3DS. Gunman Clive was a pretty decent run 'n gun platformer. You can even play as a duck that can only dodge everything. Cave Story was a pretty good intense platformer too with interesting characters and plot.
As long as the two of remain good friends with each other, you won't be alone. ^^
Yeah, I think Evie is a nice name too! Right, especially in caves where these encounters happen all the time.
Well, it can get pretty dark if you kill monsters in that game, and the underground itself may seem unsettling in certain areas. However, the game does have some dynamic and quirky characters. If you spare your enemies they will become your friends. If you try to kill everyone, certain bosses will fight you as if you are the true evil of this world. While Flowey is scary, the rest of the characters aren't that bad. Your character can literally go on a date with a couple of the bosses.
I've done a marathon of all the Classic, X, and Starforce games in the past including some of the spinoffs. What do you think of the Mega Man series in general?
Happy New Year to you too! Yeah I have the game, and I beaten the story mode. I don't really have a main yet, but I liked playing as Little Mac against the spirits. Yeah, the spirits board adds some replayability once everything else is done. Kagegamer12 (talk) 00:32, 20 January 2019 (UTC)

Starfy 1 & 2 on iQue GBA

I dont know if you've heard the news but official translations (iQue GBA) of Starfy 1 & 2 have been recently discovered.

Captcha 2

I wasn't able to come to my computer yesterday, so coming back to the site today, I find a lot of spam spanning from Friday evening. I'm not able to take care of it all right now, I have more important matters to get to. Is there any way you can convince the site admins to install a better captcha so this doesn't happen again? And is there a way you can remove all the recent talk pages and/or mass block recent accounts? Alex95 (talk) 16:51, 2 September 2019 (UTC)

Yeah, I pinged Tappy (rather, Starfy Wiki as a whole) in Discord a few days ago and he went ahead with a wiki update and cleared out all the spam. Doesn't seem like the captcha problem was fixed, though. Alex95 (talk) 16:12, 9 September 2019 (UTC)

You wanna try getting in touch with him again to set up a proper QuestyCaptcha? Alex95 (talk) 17:52, 24 February 2021 (UTC)

Leaks

Just because there's new information obtained illegally doesn't mean we shouldn't cover it. The content is official, and as long as we don't directly link to the content itself, we should be fine. Otherwise, we'd be pretending the information doesn't exist at all, which would be inaccurate. Alex95 (talk) 23:32, 4 August 2020 (UTC)

RE: Insect

So I've managed to locate a "master table" of every object in every map. There's a table at 0x15C018 that's 23 pointers long, 1 for each stage. Inside each of those pointers is another table of pointers corresponding to each area, and inside those pointers is another table for each map, which leads to 4 bytes telling you how many objects are in the map, and the next 4 bytes are a pointer to the map's array of object data (24 bytes specify each object). I've been meaning to put all my findings into a Google site to be easier to read, it's taking a while 'cause I can't make classic Google sites anymore and have to make a "New" one. (this is also a reminder to migrate your Google site soon).

This is another situation where editing the ROM directly is just much more efficient. For a fast way to look at objects, I changed the 4 bytes at 0x19CC98. This is 0x00000003 by default and affects one of the first pearls you see in Stage 1-1 (subsequent visits). To get the insect, I just changed this value to 0x00000005. I can most likely change this pearl to other objects (like doors), but they'll break unless I adjust the behavior parameters (the 16 following bytes in the ROM). Dimedime (talk) 14:14, 17 February 2021 (UTC)

Oh yeah, I've tallied every object in every map, and it appears that this insect is completely unreferenced in the game, even in the test stage. So, the only way to make it to appear is to replace an existing object like I did with editing the ROM. Dimedime (talk) 14:16, 17 February 2021 (UTC)

Thank you so much! ^^ I'll experiment with this information. I was actually trying to do the same (just a way to spawn any enemy or object though really) at some point but gave up until I had more insight; so this really helps, and I can probably use that to make articles for every unique (indexed) object in Starfy 2. Maybe Starfy 3 and maybe even 1 use the same kind of data structure? Interesting, while speculating, I wonder if it's in Starfy 1 too, and/or what kind of unused objects the original may have. I also wondered about the jellyfish character which according to an interview Starfy was originally considered to be, but if there's anything left of it at all maybe it just became Jueri. Oh no, sorry to hear that and I hope they don't break the old Google Sites completely. Thanks I'll back up everything from my sites for now. Also I reached my storage limit on it recently so had to delete one of the "other game save files", but it was a Looney Tunes game and (I overlooked) the save I had didn't even make it far in the story or complete it, so I suppose that was reasonable. Need help

I am trying to browse using the “Random page” function but it doesn’t work. Do you know what is happening? MarioStarGuy (talk) 06:51, 28 March 2021 (EST)

Works fine for me. Sometimes the wiki throws up 500 errors, though. Alex95 (talk) 15:16, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
Sorry to hear it's not working :(. Can you send a screenshot of it not working/the error message(s) please? Can forward it to the webmaster. Torchickens (talk) 15:52, 28 March 2021 (UTC)

Heyo!

Just wondering if you would let me do some interface work on this wiki (or enable personal CSS for me). I'd love to do some major redesigns on this wiki, especially with some actual assets to use. -- PanchamBro (talkcontributions) 20:36, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

Hi! ^^ Sure, would be happy to, but it's usually Michael (Talk) who manages the site as the webmaster/does the technical work. He used to be called Tappy on Skype a long time ago, but unsure what he's called now on Discord. Can look into it for you. Thanks. Torchickens (talk) 17:32, 5 September 2021 (UTC)

File upload is limited to 2MB

I've found 11 higher quality character artworks for The Legendary Starfy from a Nintendo E3 2009 Press Kit, but three of them are slightly larger than 2MB, and one is 11MB. Can you temporarily raise the restriction so I could upload these? Also, who is the owner of this domain and are they around? -Vipz (talk) 08:35, 29 January 2022 (UTC)

Slight update: Managed to upload 2 of those and a logo as new versions. I can't upload/make new files/filepages as a new editor. Many of them were also converted to PNG, whereas I have JPGs. -Vipz (talk) 08:57, 29 January 2022 (UTC)

Interface admin?

Hey there! I was wondering if you'd be willing to make me an interface admin. I'd like to do some adjustments to make the wiki more accessible, and resolve some issues such as overflowing bullets, etc. I've described some changes I'd like to make at MediaWiki_talk:Monobook.css. Thank you! ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 20:37, 13 May 2023 (UTC)

Sure ^^. Thank you. Torchickens (talk) 11:22, 15 May 2023 (UTC)

Nintendo Switch Online

Good Morning, Two days ago, it was announced that the original 3 Starfy games were going to be added to the Nintendo Switch Online service. Doing my normal browsing of the Nintendo Wikis, I checked this wiki's main page to see if they had caught the news, and to my surprise nothing was listed there. If I was able to, I would of added the news myself but I cannot. I've gone and edited the pages for the games added to address the news, but would you be able to edit the wiki's news page? Thank you, and have a great day. --Logangsta (talk) 01:23, 14 July 2024 (UTC)

Sorry, some miscommunication. For whatever reason password reset got glitched for me on Torchickens. I'll check my emails again. I'm losing my mind as I stayed up 6 days straight. SiriusDevoured (talk) 14:09, 30 July 2024 (UTC)

Main Page Social Media Links

I believe the social media portion of the main page is in need of an overhaul. To start, the Pufftop Discord server has effectively replaced the Starfy subreddit it spawned from, and is multitudes more popular than it ever was. I believe a link to the Discord would should replace the link to the inactive subreddit. Next, Colorful Planet for years now has failed at their end of the bargain with the banner-for-banner relationship. The site is almost entirely scrubbed of any Starfy content, including referrals to this Wiki. Further, Starfy's Journal is a decade old unfinished web comic that is currently a dead link. Now is the perfect opportunity to replace it with a link to the Star of Sand Ocean Wiki, a new and regularly updated pair of Starfy web comics. Furthermore, I do not believe that the Starfy Fan Club should have been featured in the first place. It was clearly made by someone young in their spare time, and has not been updated since. Finally, the YouTube topic function has updated and the current link is dead. Now there is an individual channel for each of the five games.

Two more things. First, I think there should be a link to the Starfy Alliance. It is also an old website without updates, but I think it would be cool if people sill made themselves members of the alliance. Second, the Project Pufftop Twitter account should be featured, if only to represent the Twitter presence of Starfy fans. -- Jubei (talk) 17:02, 6 October 2024 (UTC)

Box Art Uploader Error

I was trying to upload some higher-resolution versions of the GBA Starfy box arts (which can be found here, go into the shared folder), however I was alerted that the page was protected by you. Would you be able to upload these files instead for me? These files are much better than what we currently have on the wiki. --Logangsta (talk) 09:46, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
