- March 30th, 2012 - Congratulations to Dragon Quest Wiki, the newest member of NIWA! Also a member of the SEIWA, Dragon Quest Wiki is a collaborative source for knowledge about the Dragon Quest/Dragon Warrior series.
- March 24th, 2012 - Starfy Wiki has now affiliated with Wikisimpsons! The wiki about the Simpsons!
- March 23rd, 2012 - Congratulations to Icaruspedia, the ever-growing Kid Icarus Wiki who became full members of NIWA today. The date was chosen to mark the launch date of Kid Icarus: Uprising in North America and Europe.
- March 18, 2012 - One year ago today, NIWA friend, Axiomist (Joshua LeJeune) passed away. Starting as an administrator on Zelda Wiki, then founding member of NIWA and owner of WiKirby, his passion and dedication to NIWA and many other websites remains imprinted in many projects to this day. Our thoughts are with Josh's family through this difficult time.
