- April 6, 2016 - Densetsu no Starfy 3 is scheduled for release on Wii U Virtual Console in Japan on April 6, 2016!

- March 31, 2016 - An Event Course named "Starfy: Prince of Pufftop" or " "Starfy, Prince of Pufftop Palace" becomes available for Super Mario Maker. A Starfy form of Costume Mario becomes available after completing it.
