Tomy's logo, used primarily outside of Asia
Tomy Co., Ltd. (Japanese: 株式会社タカラトミー, Takara Tomy Co., Ltd.) is a Japanese company that produces toys and children's merchandise. The company was founded in 1924 as Tomiyama but changed its name to Tomy in 1963. In March 2006 the company merged with Takara and its Japanese name was changed to Takara Tomy. The company is currently headquarted in Katsushika, Tokyo, Japan.
Tomy have produced a number of The Legendary Starfy series merchandise, specifically merchandise related to Densetsu no Starfy.
