Hi, I'm Evie (Torchickens). I'm currently the editor-in-chief of Starfy Wiki. It's nice to meet you. :)
 
Outside of Starfy I have a large interest in Pokémon glitches.
 
''[[The Legendary Starfy (series)|The Legendary Starfy]]'' series has grown on me a lot since 2010, I joined this Wiki with only a mild interest to add a page about the [[demo glitch]], but have since completed every Legendary Starfy game. ''Densetsu no Starfy'' is a very relaxing series, and the [[Game Boy Advance]] games in particular are much rewarding. ''[[Densetsu no Starfy 4]]'' and ''[[The Legendary Starfy]]'' seemed to stray from the original formula and at face value these games didn't seem as fun for me, but the storytelling is often engaging and empathic. Additionally, I love the way that in the first four games there is much more for you to do after completion of the main game, usually with the addition of new levels for every stage. For some reason, maybe with the exception of some annoying backtracking at parts in ''Densetsu no Starfy 4'', this trend never got dull.
 
Some day, I would really like to see a new game in the series. A new game in the series was hinted by [[Hitoshi Yamagami]] in an interview with [[Nintendo]] and [[TOSE]]. I'm hopeful that it will come. With the latest Nintendo consoles being the [[Terminology#W|Wii U]] and [[Terminology#N|Nintendo 3DS]] (region locked consoles), there's a high possibility that it would be region-locked though, and as far as I know, the last Nintendo DS (a {{alttext|non region locked|Except for the Chinese iQue DS games}} console) games were released in 2013. It seems unlikely for there to be a Nintendo produced Nintendo DS game from now, with 2012 being the latest year for such as game.

I used to create/edit articles here with {{user|The Forgotten Beast}}, {{user|Kagegamer12}} and {{user|Star Light}} (the original wiki was founded by BattleFranky). Currently, I'm just trying to make sure this wiki is in good health and clear out the spam bots that keep appearing. I only really edit [https://sanriowiki.com/wiki/Sanrio_Wiki Sanrio Wiki] nowadays in terms of new information, and less often [https://niwanetwork.org/wiki/Main_Page NintendoWiki], which Toa 95 usually looks after.
*I'm fairly good at looking for information on the Internet.
*Good grammar and punctuation at most times.


*I can recognize hiragana and katakana, and romanise the names of aspects of the series, but I'm unexperienced with forming Japanese into sentences.
I gather.. in 2009 when the original wiki started Starfy was still a modern franchise; since [[The Legendary Starfy]] (the fifth game) had just released. A year or two after, I was interested in the game and the original Starfy 1 for Game Boy Advance. I became really passionate about the series then :] I still do love Starfy, but my enthusiasm has faded a little.. like a Blaziken that's starting to lose its flame (well kind of like my passions in life in general) :[ it's not all bad though; it's quite nice to be more indifferent to things (can lead to healthier patterns re: less attachment). Now it's 2024; that's almost 15 years since Starfy 5, so now this Nintendo DS game is retro in a sense xD.

Torchickens of Starfy Wiki

Hi there. ✿ I'm the editor in chief of Starfy Wiki (well now.. I'm only like an overseer, supervisor which is still nice ^-^🎀), ask me anything on my talk page about the direction of the site/projects and I'll be more than happy to help ^^.

I used to create/edit articles here with The Forgotten Beast (Talk), Kagegamer12 (Talk) and Star Light (Talk) (the original wiki was founded by BattleFranky). Currently, I'm just trying to make sure this wiki is in good health and clear out the spam bots that keep appearing. I only really edit Sanrio Wiki nowadays in terms of new information, and less often NintendoWiki, which Toa 95 usually looks after.
