In the The Legendary Starfy, there are Side Quests branching off of each level of every Stage, with the exception of Pufftop and ???, the first level of each Stage and its secret levels, meaning there are a total of 24 Side Quests. Completing these Side Quests will unlock a total of three Secret Levels in each Stage. The doors leading to the Side Quests are hidden, but they can be found using Moe's Sniffer. Below is a list of Side Quests, the characters who are involved, and the Secret Levels that they unlock. Details of the Side Quests can be revisited in the Journal section of Moe's Case.
Gluglug Lagoon
No. 1: Herman's Red Pearls
Herman's Red Pearls is the first Side Quest, found in Stage 1-2 (Star Spin).
In Herman's Red Pearls, Herman has lost 5 Red Pearls. Starfy must help Herman to find the Pearls. Herman will then grant the player access to Secret Level 1.
Journal description

Snow-Shovel Mission is the seventh Side Quest, found in Stage 3-2 (The Spin is Mightier).
In The Spin Is Mightier, Piplion asks Starfy to help her knock down the Mini Ping's snowmen. Starfy must knock down 12 snowmen and keep them down in 60 seconds. Piplion then grants the player access to Secret Level 1.
