Maniankou is a character who appears to be a type of fish with big lips and black hair. He is apparently a big fan of idols and anime. He has only appeared in Densetsu no Starfy 4 and sells Konpeitou, music, and Stuff in the game. He seems to especially like Kissme.

Name Origin

From mania(c)/マニア(ック), in reference to an enthusiast of something (in this case anime and idols, specifically Kissme), and Ankō/アンコウ, the Japanese word for the Lophiidae, or the Goosefish, a type of anglerfish.

Trivia

Maniankou appears to be a parody of the Japanese Otaku.
Maniankou ends his sentences in "pyon". This seems to be on purpose as his favorite idol, Kissme, does the same.
