Barrels (Japanese: タル) are objects that appear in The Legendary Starfy series. They appear as platforms that float on top of the water and can be pushed around by the player. One appears as a collectible item in Densetsu no Starfy 2.
Barrels are typically worn by the Taruika, Ootaruika, Chikurin and in Densetsu no Starfy 2 and Densetsu no Starfy 3, Chuta.
Item
During the events of Densetsu no Starfy 2, in level 3 of Pitch Dark Cave (Stage 6), Chuta's pot was blown away by a bad storm, upsetting Chuta. Chuta teaches Starfy the Mighty Star Spin, which allows him to swim against ocean currents and gives him the ability to break beige blocks. Later on, Starfy finds Ootaruika, who gives Starfy a barrel and offers to take Starfy back to Chuta. Chuta happily takes the Barrel and wears it.
