Ressie appears to be a giant red sea serpent. He resides in Resshi Lake and serves as the guardian of the lake and one of the lake's main attractions. He only appears in Densetsu no Starfy 2, but is mentioned in Densetsu no Starfy 3. Ressie is friendly in nature, and has a good relationship with Funazou. This is shown in a flashback where Funazou was attacked by two Sametto, and Ressie emerged from the lake to help Funazou and frighten them away. Although he fills a large proportion of Loch Ress's level select screen, he doesn't appear as large when Starfy meets him in person.

He is a "sentimental" father who worried about a parent and child issue.

Name Origin

• Ressie (レッシー/Resshi), as well as Loch Ress (レッシーこ/Resshi Ko), are both based off of Nessie (ネッシー/Nesshi) and Loch Ness (ネス湖/Nesu Ko).
