The Jiilacanth is a cool looking blue coelacanth who acts as an ally to Starfy throughout most of the games often giving him advice, asking for help or challenging him to mini-games. He gives the player Round and Round Sunglasses.
He also appeared in Densetsu no Starfy 3, helping Starfy and his band by letting them use the Legendary Drums.
