Chikurin is a sea urchin that only appears in Densetsu no Starfy. In the game, he needs Starfy and Moe to get him a Barrel so he can wear it in a similar fashion to Ootaruika and the Taruika. He likes to say boku-chin.
During the post game, talking to Chikurin reveals that he doesn't want a barrel anymore after everyone, presumably the other Barrel Squids in this case, say that it doesn't suit him, and then asks Starfy if he thinks the same.
