Tatsunomama (literally meaning Seahorse mama) is a female mother seahorse who acts as an ally to Starfy. Her children are known as the Tatsunoko ("seahorse children").
Tatsunomama allows the player play Seahorse Kid Catch.
She leads the player to a room with moving spikes and a Kagibanrei to help Starfy complete the Picture Book if he meets her after beating the game and clears her minigame on hard.
