Evil Flowers (Japanese: じゃあくなはな), also known simply as Flowers (Japanese: はな) are obstacles that appear in Densetsu no Starfy 4. They only appear in Degil's Castle. If Starfy or Starly touches an Evil Flower, purple spiral shapes will temporarily surround Starfy or Starly that reverse the player's directions.
This means that 'right' becomes left, 'left' becomes right, 'up' becomes down, 'down' becomes up, 'B' becomes jump and 'A' becomes Star Spin. The Y button (Spill ability) is unaffected.
