Pearl Sprites (known in Japan as Pearl Keepers) are gray haired fairies in green dresses that live inside giant red flowers. Whenever Starfy or Starly attack them they'll give them many pearls. The player can do this two times but if done a third time the Pearl Sprite will be defeated like any other enemy. A Pearl Sprite also appears in Big Bossdown where she appears after every boss battle to restore Starfy or Starly's health. During Densetsu no Starfy 1-4 they may also throw spikes other than pearls.

Trivia

• In Densetsu no Starfy 4, there is a glitch where saving at a Pearl Sprite and moving towards another while the animation hasn't finished will show a glitchy animation for the other, even though Starfy or Starly didn't interact with the other Pearl Sprite. This is exploitable in Flourishing Desert stage 6-4.
