Echigyoya is an old fish who serves under Puchi Ogura #10 and is the leader of the Chonmagyo and probably the Mijingou. In Densetsu no Starfy 2, he/she is trying to dominate Torrent's Waterfall with Puchi Ogura #10 and attempted to attack Starfy using his/her spiked shuriken throwing clones. In Densetsu no Starfy 3, he/she attempted to stop Starfy again by having his/her five Mijingou to attack him/her.

Trivia

On page 111 in the Densetsu no Starfy 2 Nintendo Official Guidebooks, Echigyoya's sprite appears blue instead of red. This possibly means that Echigyoya used a different color palette prior to the release of the final game. A sprite of Puchi Ogura #10 has his body using a darker shade of blue as well.
