Swerls (Ankoknight in Japan) are a snail-like enemy in Densetsu no Starfy 4 and The Legendary Starfy. They apparently love to jump and stick to things, and for unknown reasons their shells are covered with paste.

- English: Possibly a corruption of "swirl" for its spiral shaped shell
- Japanese: Possibly from 餡こ (あんこ/anko, red bean paste) and/or うんこ (unko, poo) for the paste stuck to their shells, and アンモナイト (ammonite). Its internal name romanisation uses "knight".
